Build end-to-end user-facing product features for an AI agents platform across web and mobile. Design interactions, client architecture, APIs, data models, and production systems. Prototype, iterate with customers, and own features from concept through production while collaborating across the stack and roles.

Tasklet is building the AI platform companies use to run their business on agents. A customer describes an outcome in plain English, and Tasklet gets the work done across their tools and systems—immediately or in the cloud 24×7.

We’re looking for unusually strong, product-minded engineers to build the experiences through which people use Tasklet. You’ll help make powerful agents feel simple, fast, trustworthy, and delightful across our web and mobile apps, website, onboarding, and everything else our users touch.

This is a broad engineering role, not a narrow frontend role. You’ll follow important product problems wherever they lead—from interaction design and client architecture to APIs, data models, and production operations. We care more about intelligence, first-principles reasoning, and strong computer-science fundamentals than a perfect match with our current stack.

We’re open to candidates from mid-level to Staff+. Regardless of level, this is a hands-on IC role: everyone at Tasklet personally builds and ships.

Compensation

$220K–$400K base salary

0.15%–0.60% equity

Compensation is calibrated to experience and expected impact. Competitive benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), four weeks of PTO, free lunch, and more.

What you’ll do

  • Build Tasklet’s user-facing product across web, mobile, and other surfaces.
  • Invent clear interactions for delegating work to agents, following their progress, handling uncertainty, and using their output.
  • Own features end to end, from early product thinking through polished production software.
  • Prototype quickly, learn from customers, and turn the best ideas into durable systems.
  • Work across the stack and across role boundaries whenever that is the best way to solve the problem.

Who you are

  • You’re an exceptional problem solver with strong computer-science fundamentals.
  • You reason from first principles, build clear mental models, and think about products as systems rather than collections of screens.
  • You have excellent product judgment and care deeply about craft, speed, performance, and the details users feel.
  • You’ve shipped high-quality production software and owned it after launch—not just built prototypes or handed work off.
  • You learn quickly, operate well with ambiguity, and prefer responsibility over process.
  • You use AI deeply in your own work. We don’t require prior professional AI experience, but we do expect you to already be seriously engaged: using current models, probing their limits, and forming your own views about where they are going.

This role is full-time and primarily in person at our office at 1 Post St. in San Francisco.
