Own the architecture and technical direction of Netic’s go-to-market systems, integrating Salesforce, billing, finance, product data, and the warehouse. Build automated sales operations workflows, internal tools, and AI agents; ensure GTM data reliability, observability, testing, and deployment standards. Partner with Sales Ops, Deal Desk, and data teams, while helping hire and mentor future engineers.
The summary above was generated by AI

Netic is the AI revenue engine for essential services who are the backbone of the American economy. With $43M in funding from Founders Fund, Greylock, Hanabi, and Dylan Field who led our Series B, we helped our customers book hundreds of thousands of jobs across services industries in North America. There are now companies operating entirely AI-first on Netic.

You’ll join our team with relentless builders from Scale, Databricks, HRT, Meta, MIT, Stanford, and Harvard in bringing frontier AI to the physical economy, where the problems are hard, the data is complex, and the impact is immediate and tangible.

The role

You'll be the first engineer dedicated to Netic's go-to-market systems. There's no GTM architecture to inherit: you'll decide how Salesforce, billing, product data and the warehouse fit together, set the technical direction, and build the platform our sales, ops and finance teams run on.

This is a senior, high-ownership role. You'll treat the GTM stack as a product, decide what to build and what to buy, and bring the same AI-first approach we bring to our customers. As the team grows, you'll help hire and mentor the engineers who join it.

What you'll do
  • Own the architecture of the GTM stack: how Salesforce, billing and finance systems, product data and the data warehouse connect, so a deal flows from first touch to invoice without manual re-entry.

  • Set the technical roadmap with Sales Ops, Deal Desk and the GTM Data Analyst, and decide what to build, buy or retire.

  • Automate sales ops workflows end to end: lead and account routing, territory assignment, approval flows, quote-to-cash and commission inputs.

  • Build internal tools and AI agents that remove manual work for reps and ops, such as account research, call prep, data enrichment and Salesforce hygiene.

  • Own the reliability, observability and correctness of GTM data pipelines, with monitoring that catches a broken sync or a wrong dashboard before a user does.

  • Set engineering standards for the GTM stack: version control, testing, CI/CD and documentation for Salesforce and the services around it.

  • Help hire and mentor the engineers who join the team.

What success looks like in year one
  • A documented GTM architecture and roadmap that leadership has signed off on.

  • Lead-to-cash running without manual re-entry, with data reconciled across Salesforce, billing and the warehouse.

  • AI tooling in daily use by reps and ops, with time saved measured.

  • Salesforce and GTM services under version control, tested and deployed through CI.

What you bring
  • 5–7 years of professional software engineering experience, including senior ownership of production systems.

  • A track record of designing systems end to end and leading projects from scoping to release with little oversight.

  • Strong skills in Python or TypeScript, plus SQL.

  • Deep experience integrating with Salesforce (REST/Bulk APIs, Apex, Flows or platform events) or similar business systems.

  • Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS or GCP), event-driven pipelines and workflow orchestration.

  • An owner's mindset and care for data correctness, plus the ability to turn vague problems from non-technical stakeholders into shipped solutions.

Nice to have
  • Experience as the first engineer on an internal tools or business systems team.

  • Experience building with LLMs and agent frameworks.

  • Experience with NetSuite, Stripe or another billing system, CPQ, or a reverse-ETL tool (Hightouch, Census).

  • Experience with data infrastructure such as dbt, Airflow or Snowflake.

Our values

  1. Obsess over the customer

  2. Every second counts

  3. Sweat the details

  4. There are no blockers

  5. Be self-directed

  6. Seek and speak the truth

  7. Enjoy the ride
