Job Description:

You are passionate about crafting software that has a significant impact for the world and future of on prem private clouds. You love solving problems and learning new things and are looking for a company that helps enable those ideas. You want to be part of a collaborative environment where teams care about the products they are creating, how they create it and the impact it has on customers’ business objectives.
 

We need someone who can collaborate with architects and technical leads to develop system software according to the design and architecture specifications, to deliver converged appliance platform to enable VCF to converge onto a single appliance model.

  • Design and implement enhancements and new capabilities in VCF and related areas.
  • Systems level programming in, Java, GoLang, Python.
  • Full stack development that includes, REST APIs.
  • Participate in all aspects of Service Ownership, monitoring, alert-automation, triaging, fixing issues to improve SLOs.
  • Participate in our on-call rotation, providing operational support to our platform.
  • Work on Management, Control and Data Plane improvements.
  • Utilize test-driven development to deliver high quality code.
  • Improve and maintain CI pipelines for your components.
  • Perform code reviews and enforce coding guidelines.
  • Utilize tools to measure, analyze and tune performance and scalability.
  • Develop flexible, reusable code that can be shared in multiple components across several operating systems/hypervisors.
  • Interact with architects and technical leads.
  • Respond to customer issues. 
  • Interact with our customer support organization and the release team.
  • Experience : Bachelors and 12+ years of related experience; at this level a post-graduate degree is
    typically expected or Masters degree and 10+ years of related experience or PhD and 7+ years of related experience

Additional Job Description:

Compensation and Benefits 

The annual base salary range for this position is $141,300 - $226,000.

 

As a valued member of our team, you'll be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus and the opportunity to receive not only a competitive new hire equity grant, but also annual equity awards, connecting your success directly to the company's growth. All subject to relevant plan documents and award agreements.
