The Role

As Senior Manager, Pre-Sales you support complex software sales cycles by delivering compelling product demonstrations, responding to technical and functional requirements, and building reusable pre-sales assets. You combine solid product knowledge with strong client-facing skills to accelerate pipeline conversion — working across direct client engagements, partner-supported opportunities and industry events.

What You Will Do:

Pre-sales support and solution delivery

  • Support the end-to-end pre-sales process for assigned opportunities: discovery, demos, RFP responses, solution scoping and proposal preparation.
  • Deliver tailored product demonstrations to mid-level and senior client stakeholders, translating features into business value.
  • Facilitate client workshops to identify requirements, validate fit and shape the solution approach.
  • Prepare written responses to RFPs, RFIs and security questionnaires in coordination with product, legal and delivery teams.
  • Support proof-of-concept engagements; document outcomes and feed learnings back into the pre-sales playbook.

Partner and event support

  • Support channel and technology partners in pre-sales engagements: provide product demonstrations and technical guidance, build their confidence in positioning the solution, and assist on partner-led opportunities when additional pre-sales depth is required.
  • Support the business at industry events and trade shows: deliver product demonstrations for event audiences, engage prospects and clients on-site with relevant use cases, and document leads and follow-up actions promptly after each event.

Asset development and enablement

  • Develop and maintain reusable pre-sales materials: demo scripts, solution blueprints, proposal modules, competitive battle cards and ROI templates.
  • Stay current on product updates, competitive landscape and industry trends; share insights with the broader sales team.
  • Contribute to the onboarding of new team members on product and solution knowledge.

Collaboration and reporting

  • Work closely with the sales lead and AD Pre-Sales to align on opportunity strategy and solution approach.
  • Maintain accurate records of pre-sales activities and solution configurations; support pipeline reporting as required.
  • Participate in win/loss reviews and apply learnings to improve proposal quality and demo effectiveness.

PRODUCT AND INDUSTRY FIT

  • Deep functional understanding of AI-native architecture beyond agents: Ability to articulate and demonstrate the foundational AI concepts that make SCOS technically differentiated, not just as an agentic platform, but as an AI-native system grounded in structured intelligence. This includes hands-on familiarity with Ontologies (the formal supply chain entity and relationship models that agents reason over), Knowledge Graphs (how SCOS traverses multi-hop relationships across suppliers, inventory, demand, and logistics nodes using semantic graph queries), and Semantics (how meaning and context are embedded into data so agents can reason over intent, not just retrieve records). Ability to demonstrate why agents without a semantic foundation produce brittle, unexplainable decisions, and how SCOS's living ontology, which agents actively write back to with decision nodes and confidence weights, produces decisions that are auditable, improvable, and enterprise-grade.
  • Deep functional knowledge of Supply Chain OS: Demand sensing and forecasting, inventory optimization, supply planning, procurement orchestration, logistics management, supplier collaboration and supply chain control tower.
  • Ability to demonstrate SCOS across a representative supply chain scenario: Skill to run a compelling, end-to-end product demonstration across a realistic supply chain scenario: demand signal ingestion, forecast generation, inventory recommendation, supply plan creation, exception alert surfacing, and the management dashboard, tailored to the buyer's industry and pain points. Ability to handle live questions and pivot the demo in real time.
  • Experience scoping proof-of-concept engagements: Skill to scope a credible supply chain AI PoC: defining product families and planning horizon, configuring forecast models, running a retrospective accuracy test, and presenting results to a supply chain and finance evaluation panel.
  • Design and present a SCOS deployment architecture: Ability to design and present a full solution architecture for SCOS deployment, including integration with ERP (SAP, Oracle), WMS, TMS, supplier portals, IoT sensors, and financial planning systems. Competency to translate architecture diagrams into business value narratives for both technical and executive audiences.
  • Supply chain data requirements & quality: Understanding of supply chain data requirements: demand history, BOM, lead times, supplier performance data, IoT telemetry, and the data quality remediation typically needed before AI planning models can run reliably. Ability to scope a data readiness assessment.
  • SAP IBP integration patterns & migration: Familiarity with SAP IBP integration patterns and migration approaches: how SCOS coexists with or replaces SAP IBP, data synchronisation design, and transition planning for supply planning teams — a critical objection-handling topic.
  • Supply chain planning methodology: Understanding of statistical forecasting, machine learning demand sensing, multi-echelon inventory optimization (MEIO), constraint-based scheduling, and the S&OP process, enabling credible conversations with supply chain practitioners, not just technology buyers.
  • Agentic supply chain decision-making: Familiarity with agentic supply chain design: autonomous replenishment agents, dynamic safety stock agents, carrier selection agents, including goal definition, tool use, constraint handling, and human-in-the-loop approval design for enterprise governance.
  • Target Personas: Comfort navigating complex, multi-stakeholder technical evaluations where IT leadership, enterprise architects, and supply chain systems owners all have a vote. Ability to meet each persona at their level, from API integration detail with architects to planning methodology with supply chain teams to data governance with CDOs.
