  • Own the intake and refinement of developer feature requests, translating requirements into platform capabilities and incorporating them into the experience ecosystem.
  • Develop integration solutions for service mesh and API gateways, enabling smooth connectivity, traffic routing, and observability for applications.
  • Design and implement Kubernetes Operators, CRDs, and platform APIs to expose infrastructure features through clean, declarative interfaces.
  • Leverage AI tools and capabilities to accelerate solution development and craft delightful, intelligent developer workflows.
  • Collaborate with partner teams across infrastructure, security, and application engineering to ensure that platform abstractions align with organizational needs.
  • Champion developer experience excellence, gathering feedback, iterating quickly, and advocating for usability, clarity, and performance in all platform tooling.
What We’re Looking For
  • Strong experience building or supporting developer experience platforms, internal tools, or platform engineering solutions.
  • Proficiency with Kubernetes (Operators, CRDs, controllers, RBAC, networking) and related cloud-native technologies.
  • Experience integrating applications with service mesh and API gateways.
  • Solid programming skills in languages such as Go, Python, or Rust.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and hybrid hosting environments.
  • A user-centric mindset and ability to translate developer needs into well-designed solutions.
  • Experience using AI tools to enhance engineering workflows is a strong plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
Bonus Qualifications
  • Experience designing scalable internal platforms used by hundreds or thousands of developers.
  • Application network traffic routing with service mesh and API gateways.
  • Background in SRE, DevOps, or infrastructure automation.
  • Contributions to open-source projects in the Kubernetes or cloud-native ecosystem.
  • Familiarity with GitOps patterns and operational excellence practices.
