Job Description

To support the growth of the Nexthink business we are looking to add a Specialist Healthcare/VDI Solution Solution Consultant to our team in North America.

In this role you will act as an overlay SC/SME and will have significant experience with the use of Virtual Apps and Virtual Desktops in the Clinical Healthcare arena. You will be supporting the sales organization and other SC’s to achieve revenue goals by providing presales support for new and existing customers in the Healthcare Vertical.

The Role:

  • Healthcare SME & thought leadership: Serve as Nexthink's internal and external subject matter expert, evangelizing the platform's value across the Clinical Healthcare market.
  • Deal qualification support: Use deep Clinical Healthcare and Virtual Apps/Desktops expertise to help sales qualify leads and map them to meaningful business outcomes.
  • Solution demonstration: Show how Nexthink directly supports healthcare-focused initiatives and delivers measurable value.
  • Cross-functional stakeholder engagement: Partner with End User Computing, IT Security, IT Operations, and IT Service Management teams to surface high-value use cases, applying strong account management skills and enthusiasm for disruptive technology.
  • Large-deal leadership: Drive large-scale Healthcare transactions forward as a Solutions Consultant, leveraging industry knowledge to advance complex deals.
  • Workshop facilitation: Lead value-based workshops that help prospects discover how Nexthink addresses their strategic priorities and major challenges.
  • Public speaking & marketing: Represent Nexthink as a speaker at key company events and other marketing initiatives.
  • External thought leadership: Build Nexthink's reputation and influence in the Clinical Healthcare market through evangelism and industry engagement.

Field-based travel: Requires regular domestic travel to client sites across the USA, with occasional international travel.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in presales or technical consulting, ideally selling SaaS/Cloud solutions into clinical healthcare institutions.
  • Hands-on, multi-site experience with Citrix, AVD, Windows 365, Omnissa Horizon, or Amazon WorkSpaces and deep platform expertise over broad familiarity.
  • Experience inside multi-hospital systems or academic medical centers, including EHRs (Epic, Oracle Health, Cerner), imaging workloads, and roaming clinical sessions — not payer or back-office healthcare IT.
  • Able to translate technical performance (e.g., logon times) into clinical impact, and to speak credibly with both a CMIO and a virtualization architect.
  • Can map and troubleshoot the full delivery path — device, network, gateway, broker, session host, profile, image, application.
  • Proven ability to scope technical evaluations, defend assumptions under scrutiny, and quantify business problems.
  • Demonstrated understanding of Healthcare IT support practices, challenges, and applications.
  • Familiarity managing End User Computing or Desktop Services in a corporate environment.
  • Knowledge of Digital Experience Monitoring or similar end-user experience functions.
  • Strong communication skills and the judgment to work independently, escalate appropriately, and engage confidently with senior leaders.
