As a Pre-Sales Solutions Architect on Everlaw's commercial team, you will partner closely with Account Executives and Customer Success Managers to drive new business and expansion across our law firm segment, with corporate legal coverage as a secondary focus. You will be the technical and product expert in the room, running discovery, leading demos and technical deep-dives, executing proofs of value (POVs), contributing to RFx responses, and translating real-world litigation and investigations workflows into compelling, Everlaw-native solutions.

In this role: you'll own the day-to-day execution of your deals and continue to deepen your expertise across our platform, including our generative AI capabilities (Deep Dive, Storybuilder, Writing Assistant, Review Assistant), analytics, processing, and review. You'll work shoulder-to-shoulder with sales leaders, customer-facing teammates, and our product organization to help grow some of the most important segments of Everlaw's business.

This is a full-time, exempt position based in our Oakland, CA, New York City or Washington D.C. office with a hybrid work schedule: in office M/W/Th with the option to work from home on Tu/Fr.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales Support & Client Engagement: Serve as the primary technical resource for AEs and CSMs across the commercial sales cycle. Lead discovery conversations with law firm and corporate prospects to understand their ediscovery, investigations, and review workflows, and translate those needs into a clear technical narrative for Everlaw.
  • Demonstrations & Technical Deep-Dives: Prepare and deliver polished platform demos tailored to specific use cases and audiences, including AI feature demos and technical deep-dives for diverse audiences ranging from technical power users to executive stakeholders.
  • Proof of Value (POV) Execution: Plan and execute standard commercial POVs. Define success criteria with input from the AE and SA leadership, manage day-to-day evaluation logistics, lead user trainings, troubleshoot issues, and keep multiple stakeholders aligned to a clear plan and timeline.
  • RFx & Technical Writing Support: Contribute to RFP, RFI, and security questionnaire responses in partnership with our Proposals Specialist and Security & Trust teams.
  • Product Feedback & Field Insights: Build and maintain working knowledge of Everlaw's roadmap, and contribute structured field feedback from prospect and customer interactions to help inform future product direction.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with sales, customer success, marketing, security & trust, legal, and product to support deal strategy, joint pursuits, and post-sale handoffs. Build trust with internal partners and informally support newer SAs and adjacent team members as you ramp.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay current on commercial ediscovery trends, the competitive landscape (Relativity, DISCO, Reveal, Logikcull, etc.), and the rapidly evolving role of generative AI in legal workflows, and bring those insights into your client conversations.
About You
  • You have at least 3 years of experience in ediscovery, with hands-on end user and/or administrative experience on at least one major platform (Everlaw, Relativity, DISCO, Reveal, Logikcull, or similar). You are willing to travel as needed to support sales efforts, client onsites, POVs, and AI Labs (typically up to ~25%, with some variability based on segment and deal mix).
  • You have prior experience in a sales engineering, solutions architecture, technical consulting, or comparable client-facing technical role, or a clearly demonstrated track record of operating at that level from an adjacent seat (e.g., advanced CS, litigation support, ediscovery practice lead).
  • You have a solid command of core ediscovery processes (EDRM, processing, review, productions, analytics) and developing fluency in standard law firm litigation workflows, with a working understanding of corporate legal workflows (legal holds, internal investigations, regulatory response, etc.) as a secondary coverage area.
  • You are an excellent communicator: clear and structured in your demos and presentations, able to engage technical buyers and end users productively, and increasingly able to tailor your message to a specific audience's pain points and value drivers.
  • You are organized and process-oriented, comfortable managing multiple concurrent opportunities, POVs, and RFx workstreams without dropping details or losing momentum on long-cycle deals.
  • You take ownership of your work, escalate appropriately when needed, and look for ways to improve how the team operates (templates, talk tracks, processes) rather than only executing assigned tasks.
  • You enjoy collaborating across functions, working with AEs and CSMs day-to-day, but also building trusted relationships with security & trust, legal, marketing, and product partners.
Benefits
  • The annual base salary for this position is $140,000, with a total On-Target Earnings (OTE) of $200,000. Eligibility for the commission portion is performance-based and subject to the achievement of specific performance metrics, which are governed by Everlaw's policies and incentive plans. The final offered salary will be dependent upon many factors including the candidate’s experience and skills. The role's compensation is subject to change in the future.

  • Health, dental, and vision
  • Flexible Spending Accounts for health and dependent care expenses
