Argano

Argano is a digital consultancy that specializes in high-performance business operations, digital transformation, and AI-driven solutions. We help enterprise and mid-market organizations modernize their core systems, streamline supply chains, and improve financial, data, and workforce operations to exceed customer expectations and fuel commercial growth.

About the Practice

Argano’s Pigment Practice is redefining business planning consulting by combining deep domain expertise with cutting-edge technology. As a Solution Architect, you are the engine of our delivery — you design and build the Pigment solutions that transform how our clients plan, forecast, and make decisions. You work within our pod model alongside experienced Pod Leads, Delivery Managers, and Consultants.

The Role

As a Solution Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing Pigment solutions for mid-market and enterprise clients. You will work closely with clients to gather requirements, design models, build solutions, and support go-live. You will be mentored by senior architects while progressively taking on more complex design challenges and client leadership responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and build Pigment planning models including data structures, calculation logic, input forms, dashboards, and reporting
  • Lead requirements gathering workshops and translate business needs into technical specifications
  • Develop integration solutions connecting Pigment with ERP, data warehouse, and other enterprise systems
  • Conduct unit testing, user acceptance testing support, and solution documentation
  • Participate in solution design reviews and contribute to architecture decisions
  • Build and maintain solution accelerators, templates, and reusable components
  • Mentor and guide Consultants on technical development and Pigment best practices
  • Support pre-sales with technical input for proposals and effort estimation
  • Contribute to client training and change management activities
  • Obtain and maintain Pigment platform certifications

Qualifications & Experience

  • 4–8 years of experience in EPM, business intelligence, or enterprise planning technology
  • Hands-on experience with Pigment, Anaplan, Oracle PBCS/EPBCS, Workday Adaptive, or SAP BPC (Pigment experience preferred)
  • Strong technical skills in model design, calculation logic, and data integration
  • Understanding of financial and operational planning processes (budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, scenario planning)
  • Client-facing communication skills with the ability to lead workshops and present to business stakeholders
  • Experience in consulting or professional services environment preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams and deliver quality output under deadline pressure
  • Experience with data transformation tools, SQL, APIs, or ETL processes a plus
  • Industry experience in Life Sciences, CPG, or Technology a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree required

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is a technically strong planning consultant who wants to work at the intersection of business strategy and technology. You have built models in at least one EPM platform and understand the underlying planning processes. You are a self-starter who can run workstreams independently while collaborating effectively within a team. You are hungry to learn Pigment if you don’t already know it, and you see this as a career-defining opportunity to grow with a practice from early stage to market leader.

How You Embody Our Guiding Principles

  • Become an Expert: You pursue mastery of Pigment and planning best practices
  • Stay Curious: You are always learning, always asking “why” and “what if”
  • Be a Team Player: You succeed as a pod, not as an individual
  • Own Your Growth: You seek feedback and take on stretch assignments
