Location: Remote (Canada or U.S.)

Procurify is the leading agentic procurement platform for the mid-market, helping organizations take control of their spend and make smarter financial decisions.
We’re building an ambitious, high-performance company where talented people are trusted with meaningful ownership and given the opportunity to make a real impact. Our remote-first culture values accountability, resilience, collaboration, and continuous growth. You’ll work alongside driven teammates on complex, important problems, grow your career through meaningful challenges, and help shape an AI-native company at a defining moment in the evolution of agentic procurement.

We're hiring an experienced Solutions Consultant to be the technical and domain authority on our sales team. This is the person who can walk into a room with a VP of Finance or a Controller, diagnose their procurement and AP pain points in minutes, and show (not just tell) why Procurify is the better platform. The role partners closely with our CRO, VP of Sales, and Executive Leadership Team to help shape how we win competitive deals.

About the Role

This is not an entry-level pre-sales seat. We're looking for someone who has already sold or consulted against the players in our space or similar procure-to-pay, spend management, or AP automation providers. You'll know how to position a challenger platform to win, and you'll own the technical and domain narrative across complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles in the mid-market and lower-enterprise segment, partnering closely with Account Executives, Customer Success, Product, and Marketing.

This role sits at the intersection of deep domain expertise, competitive strategy, and consultative selling. Success looks like shorter sales cycles, higher win rates against named competitors, and a Sales org that is measurably sharper because of the enablement and positioning you bring.

What You'll Do
Domain & Competitive Expertise
  • Serve as the subject-matter expert on Procurify's platform and on the broader procure-to-pay, spend management, and AP automation landscape.

  • Maintain current, detailed knowledge of key competitors and translate that intelligence into sharp, defensible competitive positioning for Sales and Marketing.

  • Codify win/loss themes, battlecards, and objection-handling assets so the whole Sales team benefits from what you learn in the field.

  • Partner with Product Management to relay competitive gaps, market feedback, and integration needs, and help prioritize what gets built next.

Discovery & Demo Excellence
  • Lead structured, consultative discovery to uncover a prospect's procurement and AP workflows, technical environment, and business drivers.

  • Design and deliver compelling, story-driven demos that connect Procurify's capabilities to the prospect's stated business case.

  • Build and maintain a reusable library of demo environments, vertical-specific narratives, and proof points that scale across the team.

  • Conduct technical scoping for both out-of-the-box integrations and custom API integrations to client ERP and accounting systems (e.g., NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Microsoft Dynamics, QuickBooks).

Sales Cycle & Deal Support
  • Partner with Account Executives through complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles from qualification through close, acting as the technical and strategic co-pilot on every deal that needs one.

  • Own RFP/RFI responses, security and IT questionnaires, and solution documentation that build prospect confidence and speed up procurement decisions.

  • Present to and influence economic buyers and executive stakeholders, including CFOs, Controllers, and VPs of Finance and Procurement, translating technical capability into strategic, financial value.

  • Qualify potential customers while understanding and solving their complex workflow and approval-routing questions.

Cross-Functional Impact & Enablement
  • Help ramp new Sales hires on demo delivery, discovery technique, and competitive positioning.

  • Get new clients set up for success by enhancing their understanding of the platform and services ahead of handoff to Customer Success.

  • Contribute market, competitive, and win/loss perspective to Procurify's Product Team

  • Other related duties as assigned.

Who We're Looking For
  • 4+ years in a Solutions Consultant, Sales Engineer, or Pre-Sales Consultant role in B2B SaaS, with strong preference for candidates coming from a procure-to-pay, spend management, or AP automation provider

  • Deep, hands-on domain knowledge of procurement and accounts payable workflows, purchase-to-pay cycles, approval routing, and financial controls.

  • A proven track record running discovery and delivering demos that have influenced complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise or mid-market deals.

  • Direct experience competing against, or working at, the providers named above, with the ability to speak credibly and specifically to how Procurify differentiates.

  • A consultative, curious, quick-thinking approach: diagnose the business problem first, then map the technical solution.

  • Experience owning technical workstreams within full sales cycles, including RFPs, security reviews, technical scoping, and executive-level presentations.

  • Comfort with ERP and accounting system integrations and API concepts; able to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the presence to influence a room of executive stakeholders.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • For customer-facing roles, maintains an up-to-date LinkedIn profile and ensures it is refreshed upon joining, to reflect their role at Procurify and help maintain a consistent, professional presence across our GTM team.
