THE ROLE
As an Accounting Solution Consultant at Campfire, you will bridge the gap between our sales and product teams and our prospective customers. You'll build proof of concepts, lead product demonstrations, and show how AI-native accounting software solves real business challenges. This is a critical customer-facing role that will help shape our go-to-market strategy and directly impact our growth trajectory.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as one of Campfire's technical accounting experts in sales cycles and scoping conversations, translating complex accounting requirements into product solutions.

  • Demo the Campfire product and field technical accounting questions on live sales calls.

  • Identify customer pain points and collaborate with the product and engineering teams to customize and build solutions.

  • Guide the future product roadmap by channeling customer insights to the product development team.

  • Develop marketing materials and contribute to the evolving go-to-market strategy.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Deep accounting experience required. CPA is a plus - Our ideal candidate brings a mix of public accounting and industry accounting experience in the technology space.

  • Familiarity with topics such as ASC 606 (revenue recognition), ASC 830 (foreign currency), and ASC 842 (lease accounting) is a plus. Experience applying AI to accounting workflows is a bonus.

  • Strong understanding of accounting workflows such as period close and journal entry approvals.

  • Demonstrated ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-technical audiences.

  • Experience with accounting software or financial technology.

  • Excellent communication skills and a consultative sales approach.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to help build something from the ground up.

  • Self-motivated and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.
