The Opportunity:

The Solutions Enablement Analyst is responsible for leading and governing the product and enterprise project intake process of new products and services. This role requires a strong understanding of product strategy, technology, and organizational interdependencies in order to shape opportunities and align them with enterprise goals.This role involves translating requests into clear business and technical requirements, evaluating feasibility and integration impacts, and ensuring all compliance and governance standards are met.

The role works cross-functionally across the enterprise to capture requirements, facilitate intake governance, size requests, and influence prioritization of product and service requests. The position is accountable for conducting impact analysis, identifying risks and dependencies, and providing insights into portfolio trends to support leadership decision-making.

Day in the Life:

  • Lead the evaluation of product information provided by requestors, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure completeness, clarity, and alignment with enterprise priorities.
  • Synthesize client demand, and enterprise capabilities to assess potential success and recommend prioritization.
  • Facilitate and align cross-functional stakeholders (Product, Technology, Infrastructure, Sales, Operations) to ensure a transparent intake process.
  • Drive adherence to intake SLAs and proactively communicate progress, risks, and escalations.
  • Conduct comprehensive impact assessments to identify affected systems, teams, business processes, and client impacts, and present findings for decision-making.
  • Determine prioritization of requests through strategic assessment and alignment with strategic goals.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver executive-level summaries and expert guidance on ARB requirements, driving process efficiency and strategic alignment.Ensure all compliance and governance standards are consistently met throughout intake.
  • Own intake documentation standards and define, track, and report KPIs to measure intake health and throughput.
  • Shepherd requests from submission through prioritization and hand-off, ensuring transparency for stakeholders.
  • Synthesize intake trends and provide actionable insights to senior leadership, influencing portfolio and strategic planning.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and partners to assess impacts, dependencies, and opportunities tied to intake requests.
  • Develop and maintain deep knowledge of processing platforms, interdependencies, and organizational nuances to inform feasibility assessments.
  • Continuously improve the intake process, driving efficiency, transparency, and scalability using Lean-Agile and portfolio management practices.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for advancement.
  • Partner with Procurement, Sales, and Service to facilitate new vendor and client requests and ensure intake alignment with client commitments.
  • Lead the capture of requirements for business cases, including business and technical needs, scope, impacted systems, financial models, client impacts, capacity planning, and organizational value.
  • Support successful execution of PLC Phase 1: Initiation in the PLC process, ensuring intake requests are ready for downstream execution.

  • Elicit, analyze, and document business and technical requirements sufficient to support feasibility assessment, architectural review, and intake decision making.

  • Develop clear intake‑level artifacts (e.g., requirements summaries, scope definitions, and dependency mappings) that enable Technology and Product teams to progress efficiently into delivery phases.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or related field preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Seven (7) years of experience in Business Analysis, Product Management, or related disciplines (enterprise, data, systems, reporting, stakeholder management).

  • Five (5) years of financial services or payments processing experience preferred; experience with Agile/Lean, epics/features, and backlog refinement also preferred. Experience with User Experience and Product Design a plus.

  • Ability to facilitate and influence diverse stakeholders to achieve alignment on prioritization and next steps.
  • Demonstrate behaviors based on Velera Values.
  • In-depth knowledge of agile technologies, including Epic and Feature definitions
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats and give presentations utilizing various audiovisual support aids to all levels of leadership.
  • Ability to plan, track, and manage work in a fast-paced, multi-priority environment, while meeting deadlines. Understanding the concepts of project prioritizations, impact, and risk assessment
  • Strong knowledge of the card payments industry, core processing platforms, and related in-house applications.Demonstrated excellent analytical skills
  • Advanced analytical and financial modeling skills, with ability to connect intake requests to enterprise value.Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet computer software applications
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of materials handled
  • Ability to be flexible and work under high pressure in a complex environment

Pay Equity

$84,900.00 - $108,200.00

Actual Pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
