The role
Raydar is recruiting for this opportunity through the Paraform network. The position is with our client. Partner with sales on enterprise technical discovery, demonstrations, API solution design, and a smooth handoff into implementation.
What you'll do
- Lead technical discovery and solution design with prospective customers.
- Create tailored product demonstrations and technical presentations.
- Scope API integrations, analyze gaps, and plan implementations.
- Develop product expertise and turn customer needs into product feedback.
- Help resolve technical issues and coordinate implementation handoffs.
Requirements
What we're looking for
- 4 to 8 years as a solutions or pre-sales engineer.
- Experience supporting enterprise or middle-market sales at a B2B SaaS or API company.
- Hands-on REST API integration and architecture experience.
- Ability to read and write code and work from API documentation.
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts in clear business terms.
Bonus points
- High-growth startup or scale-up experience.
- Interest in financial technology, tax, or compliance software.
Benefits
Compensation and benefits
- Base salary: USD 170,000 to 220,000 per year.
- Equity: Competitive equity.
- Commission is available in addition to base salary; the plan will be discussed during hiring.
Location and work model
- Hybrid role based in New York; San Francisco is also listed as an available location. Travel of up to approximately 40% is required.
