Position Summary
DAS Health is seeking a customer-focused Solutions Engineer to help healthcare organizations identify, scope, and implement technology solutions that drive business and clinical outcomes. In this role, you will partner closely with clients, Account Managers, engineers, and operational teams to understand customer needs, translate requirements into actionable solutions, and develop Statements of Work (SOWs) that support successful project delivery. This position is ideal for a technically savvy professional who enjoys collaborating with clients, solving business challenges, and serving as a trusted advisor throughout the solution development process.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead client discovery sessions to understand business objectives, workflows, technical environments, requirements, constraints, and desired outcomes
  • Gather and document business and technical requirements, assumptions, dependencies, risks, and success criteria
  • Translate client needs into practical, value-driven healthcare technology solutions
  • Develop Statements of Work (SOWs), project scope documents, deliverables, timelines, and implementation plans
  • Partner with Account Managers to identify opportunities, support customer conversations, and advance projects through the sales and delivery lifecycle
  • Collaborate with engineering, cybersecurity, project management, support, procurement, and operations teams to validate solution feasibility and implementation strategies
  • Communicate solution value and business impact to both technical and executive stakeholders
  • Coordinate project readiness and provide thorough handoffs to implementation teams
  • Support change requests, scope clarification, issue resolution, and customer communication as needed
  • Maintain accurate documentation, project updates, and customer records throughout the engagement lifecycle
  • Contribute to process improvements, documentation standards, and reusable solution development resources
  • Stay current on healthcare IT, cybersecurity, cloud technologies, infrastructure, networking, interoperability, and managed services best practices
Required Qualifications
  • Experience in Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, Technical Consulting, Managed Services, Implementation Services, Project Coordination, or a similar customer-facing technical role
  • Proven ability to lead discovery conversations, gather requirements, define project scope, and translate business needs into technical solutions
  • Experience developing Statements of Work (SOWs), proposals, implementation plans, estimates, or related project documentation
  • Working knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, cloud services, hardware, software, and managed services
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage executive-level and technical stakeholders
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams
  • Strong sense of ownership, urgency, accountability, and follow-through
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced remote environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Healthcare IT experience supporting provider organizations, healthcare systems, or healthcare-focused service providers
  • Experience working in a Managed Services Provider (MSP) environment
  • Familiarity with EHR and Practice Management platforms
  • Knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards such as HL7 and FHIR
  • Experience with healthcare integrations, interface engines, or data exchange solutions
  • Understanding of HIPAA, healthcare security requirements, HITRUST, NIST, or related compliance frameworks
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • Broad exposure to infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, networking, and managed services technologies
