SpaceX was founded under the belief that a future where humanity is out exploring the stars is fundamentally more exciting than one where we are not. Today, SpaceX is actively developing the technologies to make this possible, with the ultimate goal of making life multiplanetary and expanding consciousness to the stars.
SpaceXSI is building Super Intelligence to help humanity understand the universe. Our teams are building the full Super Intelligence stack: from our Colossus supercomputers, to Grok models, to our suite of applications, including Grok Bot, Grok Build, Grok Imagine, Grok Voice, and X. We're creating a powerful flywheel where more compute trains better models, better models power more useful products, and what we learn from people using those products shapes what we build next.

Solutions Strategy & Operations Manager

Revenue Operations · Full-time · San Francisco, New York or Austin

We’re hiring a Solutions Strategy & Operations Manager to build the operating foundation that will help our business scale. You’ll support our technical pre- and post-sales teams, including Field Engineering and Forward Deployed Engineering. These teams help customers understand what’s possible and design solutions that deliver exceptional business outcomes and rapid time to value.

You’ll help shape our investment strategy, staffing and operating models. Working alongside business leaders, you’ll assess what’s working, what isn’t and what needs to change to achieve our ambitious goals. You’ll be both a thought partner to senior leadership and a hands-on operator, building the data, models, systems and processes that help the organization run with pace and rigor. You’ll help leaders make the right big bets and bring them to life, adding value and rigor without slowing down the technical, experienced teams we support.

You’ll work closely with RevOps, GTM, Finance and Accounting to put ideas into practice quickly and iterate as the business evolves. This isn’t a pure strategy or analyst role: you’ll set direction with leadership in one meeting and build the model behind it in the next.

Our organization is flat, and our team is small and talent dense. You’ll begin as a generalist working across subject areas, with the opportunity to develop deep expertise and own a business unit end to end over time. You’ll have an outsized impact on our customers and the company’s trajectory. We’re looking for people who are truth-seeking, collaborative and analytical, and who love to build.

What you’ll do

  • Build headcount and capacity models so we invest in the right places at the right time across functions and regions

  • Own coverage models so each customer gets the service model that drives growth

  • Build analyses and reporting that put the right insights in front of the right people to drive decisions and actions, from frontline teams to leadership

  • Support the leadership operating cadence (business reviews, planning, decision forums) so decisions get made quickly on sound data

  • Own and drive operational action plans, strategies and plays

  • Design the compensation models that reward the right outcomes

  • Build pipeline visibility for Services, so we see demand early and staff ahead of it

  • Stand up project and utilization tracking across delivery teams, so leaders have systematic visibility to where time goes and what outcomes we’re driving

  • Work with Deal Desk, Finance and Accounting on how Services are scoped, priced, contracted and recognized

You may be a fit if

  • You have a background in revenue strategy & operations, business operations, and/or experience supporting pre-sales (e.g. sales engineering), direct sales or technical services teams

  • You have strong analytical and modeling skills, and you ground your recommendations in data

  • You understand how to build rigorous foundations across capacity modeling, staffing strategies, planning and core operational process

  • You have experience with pipeline, utilization and margin management

  • You’re comfortable partnering with Deal Desk, Finance and Accounting on pricing, contract structure and revenue recognition

  • You solve problems end to end and run programs that keep people informed and moving

  • You’ve built from the ground up, and you know when to launch and iterate versus when to go deep

  • You clearly communicate across levels and audiences, and have experience partnering with senior leadership

  • You’re bought into where SpaceXSI is headed and want a hand in building how it scales

It’s a plus if you have…

  • Experience working across the Services & Partners ecosystem

  • Consulting, finance and/or analytics background

  • Customer-facing experience

  • Experience with consumption-based pricing

  • Experience with pricing strategy
