Note- This position will be primarily based in our facility located in AZ and the ideal employee is required to work on a hybrid schedule from that facility. 

The FAB Strategic Sourcing Manager is responsible for all commercial activities with suppliers related to the FAB in Chandler Arizona. 
 

Responsibilities
  • Coordinates purchasing activities with stakeholders to secure product/service in a cost effective & timely manner 
  • Specific expertise in supporting Manufacturing/FAB, Production facility required
  • Experience negotiating large capital equipment purchases and Chemicals, Products, Services, Software, etc.
  • Reviews and analyzes purchase requisitions from Business Area Stakeholders/Partners
  • Evaluates quotes for accuracy and documents information needed on Purchase Order (PO) (delivery details, etc.) 
  • Coordinates processing of PO and/or Change Order for suppliers
  • Conducts RFI, RFQ, RFP with suppliers in collaboration with stakeholders
  • Works with supplier and stakeholder to negotiate best price and terms
  • Recommends cost saving proposals including make-versus-buy analysis or alternative sourcing 
  • Achieves significant savings on negotiations (new and repeat business)
  • Requires domestic and global expertise of assigned commodities/categories
  • Negotiates contract terms and conditions in collaboration with Legal and Contracts Manager
  • Manages category strategy, supplier selection, and supplier management/governance
  • Provides summary related to supplier deals or status to executives
  • Assists in the on boarding and screening of new suppliers
  • Utilizes P-card to make low dollar, less strategic purchases
  • Acts as a steward of the company’s budget
     
Qualifications
  • 15 years experience with supply chain/sourcing/procurement/buying required
  • 15 years experience with SAP/Ariba (preferred) or similar MRP system required
  • Requires flexible Hybrid format with time spent in FAB as needed to support the business (~2 days/week)
  • Able to work in high-volume, fast-moving environment with daily deadlines and re-prioritization
  • Strong interpersonal skills and team player attitude 
  • Strong verbal, written, communication, and English skills
  • Excellent Excel, PowerPoint, Word skills required
  • Able to work independently and/or in a team culture  
  • Undergraduate degree in business or related field (supply chain).
  • Very little travel required (-10%)
  • Job is individual contributor but collaborates with colleagues in same and associated groups
  • Job is full time with flexible work hours and ability to work remote while spending some time in FAB office
  • Relocation not available
