Who we areAbout Stripe

Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. Millions of companies—from the world's largest enterprises to the most ambitious startups—use Stripe to accept payments, grow their revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone's reach while doing the most important work of your career.

About the team

This is a cross-functional team at Stripe that operates at the intersection of real estate, design, and brand. We're a lean group focused on the end-to-end execution of high-touch physical environments. Our team acts as the bridge between creative vision and technical delivery, ensuring that we build Stripe's physical footprint to an exacting standard of craft and operational excellence. We're looking for builders who are energized by ambiguity and enjoy the process of turning a high-level concept into a tangible, functioning space.

What you'll do

We're looking for an Assistant Project Manager to be the operational backbone of a physical build-out. This is a "jack-of-all-trades" role for someone who is equally comfortable on a construction site as they are in a spreadsheet. You'll support the end-to-end execution of a project, ensuring that the "drumbeat" of the work stays on track and that no detail is overlooked.

At Stripe, we're obsessively user-first. We believe that every touchpoint—including our physical environments—reflects a commitment to craft, quality, and seamless experience.

Responsibilities
  • Drive momentum. Attend all workstream calls and own the action items. We use AI for raw notes, but you're responsible for coordinating stakeholders (internal and external) to ensure nothing stalls.
  • Drive workstreams. Manage execution in partnership with the lead, from kickoff through completion—everything from sourcing vendor options and securing budget approvals to collaborating with internal teams.
  • Be on-site as needed to verify that all physical touchpoints meet our standards of craft and delivery.
  • Support team scaling. Manage the logistics of expanding project capacity, including vendor sourcing, partner onboarding, leveraging AI tools, and contractor coordination.
  • Draft weekly updates. Turn complex updates from across the project into clear, dense weekly notes for leadership. You possess the ability to turn project noise into actionable signal.
Who you are

We're looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.

Minimum requirements
  • Real estate experience. You have 3–5 years of experience in real estate operations, owner's representation, or hospitality development. You're a "high-agency" operator who loves the "how" of making things happen.
  • User-first mindset. At Stripe, we're obsessively user-first. You likely come from a background where the guest or customer experience is paramount—such as consumer-facing retail or premium hospitality. You understand that the quality of a space directly impacts the person using it.
  • A team-first mentality. You're a super team player who thrives in a close-knit, collaborative environment and makes everyone around you more effective.
  • High-agency track record. You have 3–5 years of experience in roles that require exceptional organization and the ability to navigate ambiguity. Your former colleagues describe you as the person who "just gets it done."
  • Strong communication. You never let an action item drop and distill complex updates into clear, actionable briefings for leadership.
Preferred qualifications
  • Financial and administrative rigor. You have experience managing project budgets, navigating procurement workflows, and maintaining meticulous financial records.
  • Technical leverage. You're proficient at using AI and modern productivity tools to automate routine tasks and accelerate project delivery.
