About Reunion

Reunion is transforming the way clean energy projects are financed. Since 2024, our tax credit transfer business has led the industry in volume with over $8B transacted. Our compliance business is building disruptive software for developers to track operations and ensure regulatory compliance.

Reunion has built a consistently profitable company, focused on building for the long term. We raised a small seed round of funding in 2023, and have since repaid our investors in full. We do not have pressure from VCs or outside investors to chase short-term targets.

We have worked hard to build a mission-driven company culture that values creativity, collaboration, excellence, and speed without sacrificing fun. Our talented team includes experienced leaders from the clean energy ecosystem. We are growing rapidly.

We look for curious, smart, and kind colleagues with an entrepreneurial streak (we have quite a few ex-entrepreneurs on our team). Reunion is a great place to learn from energy finance experts and play a critical role in deploying clean energy technologies.

About the role

This is a high-upside opportunity for an exceptional early-career generalist with a sharp analytical mind, a bias for action, and the ambition to grow into a future leader.

You will help us support high-impact transactions, expand sales operations, and uncover new growth opportunities through partnerships.

The majority of your time will be spent in origination and negotiation towards the bottom of our sales funnel, but you must be comfortable flexing into the top of the funnel in a business development capacity (e.g., leading outreach sequences and developing BD strategy). You’ll work closely with the leadership team on some of our most critical initiatives, and will be empowered to take on increasing ownership and lead projects.

What You’ll Do
  • Originate and manage relationships with tax credit buyers and sellers

    • Origination: Manage top-of funnel outreach; research and develop a target list, and develop creative and data-driven campaigns to unlock conversations with new customers

    • Negotiation: Lead conversations with both tax credit buyers and sellers, and manage all follow-ups in a fast and detailed-oriented manner

    • Partnership:

      • Serve as a trusted and consultative partner who can answer highly technical questions as well as big-picture strategic questions

      • Build the case for working with Reunion, drawing on insights you collect from direct conversations with customers and partners

  • Develop our business and operationalize sales processes

    • Develop efficient sales processes; get creative with existing and new tools to drive continued, measurable customer growth

    • Create sales materials to educate tax credit buyers and sellers

    • Demonstrate initiative and ownership in handling business development tasks

What you’ll need
  • 4-5+ years of success in a fast-paced environment such as investment banking, private equity, management consulting, or a fast-growing startup

  • Excellence in communication at the enterprise, executive-level counterparties

  • NOTE: Reunion is an equal opportunity employer. You're encouraged to apply even if your experience doesn't line up exactly with the job description

Nice to haves
  • Professional experience in clean energy finance (e.g., solar, wind, battery storage)

  • An interest in becoming a future leader in clean energy

Why join us?
  • Help scale one of the most exciting and impactful clean energy finance companies

  • Work directly with experienced founders and a top-tier team

  • Competitive compensation, equity, and benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance

  • Travel to company offsites 2-3x per year to meet teammates in-person

  • Flexible PTO plan

Location
  • For this role, we prefer candidates based in SF, Seattle, or Los Angeles
