About the Role:

CrowdStrike is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst – ServiceNow, to join its IT Service Management Office, with a focus on security and risk capabilities across the ServiceNow platform. In this role, you will partner with business stakeholders, security teams, architects, and ServiceNow developers to align solutions with business, risk, and compliance objectives.

This position provides dedicated SMO ownership for ServiceNow security and risk capabilities, supporting safe, scalable platform growth while managing continuous enhancement demand. The role focuses on security and risk-aligned workflows such as ServiceNow Security Operations (SecOps), Vulnerability Response, Security Posture Control, Threat Intelligence Security Center, and related integrations, and is well suited to a platform-oriented BSA with strong backlog ownership and credibility in regulated environments.

You will translate security and risk requirements into clear functional designs, priorities, and development stories, while maintaining a steady enhancement roadmap. The role also offers opportunities to contribute to broader SMO initiatives and cross-platform work, leveraging core platform capabilities such as CMDB, CSDM, ITSM, Employee Center Pro, and shared data models as priorities and capacity require.

What You’ll Do:

  • Own and manage ServiceNow security and risk capabilities within the SMO, serving as the primary BSA for continuous enhancement and platform evolution.

  • Partner with security, risk, compliance, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable ServiceNow solutions.

  • Manage and prioritize ongoing enhancement backlogs, maintaining a clear and credible roadmap aligned to risk, regulatory, and business needs.

  • Design and document functional solutions across ServiceNow Security Operations (SecOps), including Vulnerability Response and Incident Response, as well as Integrated Risk Management (IRM/GRC) and related modules.

  • Collaborate with architects and developers to guide solution design, integrations, and data flows without owning code delivery.

  • Support integrations between ServiceNow and security or risk toolsets to ensure accurate, timely data exchange and operational visibility.

  • Ensure solutions meet governance, security, and compliance standards while enabling efficient delivery.

  • Support both run-the-business and grow-the-business work beyond security-focused initiatives when capacity and priorities require.

  • Contribute to broader SMO priorities and leveraging core platform capabilities such as CMDB, CSDM, Employee Center Pro, Asset & Configuration Management, and related ServiceNow services.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree (technical degree preferred).

  • 10+ years of experience implementing, configuring, and administering SaaS business systems, with at least 4 years of ServiceNow experience.

  • Experience supporting security-, risk, or compliance-aligned workflows such as Security Operations (SecOps), Vulnerability Response, Incident Response, or Integrated Risk Management (IRM/GRC).

  • Strong ServiceNow platform experience across complex, multi-module implementations.

  • Proven ability to manage continuous enhancement backlogs and maintain stakeholder-aligned roadmaps.

  • High stakeholder credibility in regulated, security-sensitive, or compliance-driven environments.

  • Experience integrating ServiceNow with security or risk toolsets.

  • Strong prioritization, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience engaging senior leadership.

  • Strong understanding of ITSM and ITIL best practices.

  • Experience working in Agile, Kanban, Scrum, or similar delivery methodologies.

  • Passion for creating a frictionless end-user experience.

Bonus Points:

  • Practical exposure to GenAI use cases (e.g., ServiceNow Now Assist, enterprise copilots, or internal AI tools).

  • Understanding of AI governance, risk, and responsible use (no data science expertise required), especially with regard to AI Control Tower

  • ServiceNow certifications (Administrator, Advanced Administrator, micro-certifications).

  • Experience with Platform Analytics.

  • Knowledge of CMDB, CSDM, Employee Center Pro, Asset & Configuration Management.

  • ITIL Foundation v3 or higher.

  • Major Tech Employers: Google, Apple, Salesforce, Meta
