Duties & Responsibilities:

VIAVI is seeking an experienced IT Senior Business Systems Analyst to lead and transform our Opportunity-to-Order (O2O) business processes. This is a senior individual contributor role in which you will partner with business and IT leaders to define, design, and deliver enterprise solutions across CRM, CPQ, pricing, quoting, order capture, and ERP platforms.

You will play a critical role in shaping how VIAVI’s commercial systems operate—driving scalability, efficiency, and business value across global operations.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end analysis and design of Opportunity-to-Order business processes.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable solution designs, including process flows, architecture diagrams, data models, and interface specifications.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, automation, and user experience.
  • Drive large, cross-functional initiatives and system enhancements.
  • Mentor junior analysts and support global delivery teams.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for Opportunity-to-Order systems and processes.
  • Contribute to the IT applications roadmap for commercial systems and supporting enterprise platforms.
  • Manage new development, enhancements, upgrades, and the timely delivery of projects using best practices.
  • Collaborate with IT stakeholders, delivery teams, and external partners as part of a global team.
  • Work collaboratively across functional boundaries and organizational levels to drive results.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support the organization.

    Pre-Requisites / Skills / Experience Requirements:

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
    • 10+ years of experience in IT business systems analysis, with a strong focus on enterprise applications and business process transformation.
    • 7+ years of experience supporting Opportunity-to-Order, Quote-to-Order, and Order-to-Cash processes in a global enterprise environment.
    • Strong knowledge of CRM, CPQ, pricing, product configuration, order management, and ERP processes and platforms.
    • Hands-on knowledge of Oracle ERP, Salesforce, and similar CRM solutions, CPQ tools, and related business applications.
    • Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns, including APIs, middleware, event-based architecture, and batch interfaces.
    • Experience creating process maps, solution designs, data flows, and interface specifications.
    • Strong analytical and communication skills.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience in high-tech industries or other complex product-based environments.
    • Experience with product data, pricing governance, commercial approvals, and order orchestration.
    • Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks, software development life cycle practices, and Agile methodologies.
    • Experience working with global business teams, system integrators, and external partners.
    • Ability to balance strategic architectural thinking with practical execution and operational support needs.
    • Experience in project leadership, vendor coordination, and organizational change management.

    253,500
