Role Description
As a Sr Performance Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the go-to-market growth strategy for Dropbox’s most exciting products. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in product-led growth and sales-led growth motions, deep expertise in B2B SaaS marketing, and the ability to design and scale full-funnel programs that drive conversion, pipeline, and product adoption.

You will bring a strong command of growth best practices across digital channels, campaign orchestration, lead nurturing, and conversion optimization, paired with sharp analytical skills to measure, iterate, and improve performance. Your focus will be on building high-impact programs that attract, engage, and convert target audiences while aligning with overall business and revenue objectives.

This role requires close partnership with cross-functional teams, including product, sales, product marketing, integrated marketing, and analytics, to ensure programs are aligned with product positioning, customer insights, and business goals. You will translate market opportunities and product updates into compelling acquisition strategies, leveraging data-driven insights and innovative approaches to scale Dropbox’s reach and adoption.
Responsibilities
  • Growth Strategy: Develop and execute full-funnel acquisition plans that drive product awareness, conversion, pipeline, and achieve growth targets for Dropbox Dash.
  • Pipeline Acceleration: Partner with sales and product marketing to deliver programs that generate qualified opportunities and accelerate deal cycles.
  • Integrated Campaign Management: Lead the design, execution, and optimization of digital campaigns across paid social, content syndication, display, and emerging channels, ensuring alignment with buyer journeys and business objectives.
  • Analytics and Optimization: Measure campaign performance, pipeline contribution, and ROI. Use insights to optimize programs, produce QBR and MBR reporting, and share learnings with leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner with sales, product marketing, and integrated marketing teams to ensure demand generation initiatives support GTM priorities and product positioning.
  • Budget Management and Forecasting: Manage program budgets and forecasts, making data-driven investment decisions that balance near-term performance with long-term growth.
  • Market Research: Track industry trends, user behaviors, and competitive activity to uncover opportunities that strengthen Dropbox’s product-led and sales-led growth engine.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 8+ years in B2B marketing with a focus on demand generation, performance marketing, and/or digital marketing
  • Data driven with a strong ability to interpret marketing and sales data, generate actionable insights, and translate findings into strategies/experiments that improve performance and ROI
  • Proven track record in planning, executing, and optimizing multi-channel demand programs across paid search, paid social, content syndication, and display
  • Drive impact through deep knowledge of platforms including Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, programmatic display, and content syndication partners, with experience testing and scaling new channels
  • Build strong cross-functional partnerships by influencing and aligning with sales, product marketing, brand, and other stakeholders
  • Direct budget management, forecasting, and investment prioritization to balance near-term pipeline with long-term growth
  • Demonstrated success in owning initiatives end-to-end, driving alignment across teams, and presenting insights and recommendations to senior leadership
  • Experience driving PLG/self-serve program management to accelerate customer acquisition, activation, and expansion through scalable, data-informed marketing initiatives

San Francisco and the surrounding Bay Area attracts more startup funding than any other region in the world. Home to Stanford University and UC Berkeley, leading VC firms and several of the world’s most valuable companies, the Bay Area is the place to go for anyone looking to make it big in the tech industry.
