Job Summary
Universal Ads is building a new way for growth marketers to access premium video and CTV inventory at scale. As we expand our business, we are looking for a Senior Account Director to activate and grow relationships across the Mobile & Tech customer segment, including mobile apps, subscription businesses, AI-native companies, gaming, fintech, digital services, and other performance-driven advertisers. This will be one of the first dedicated sales hire focused on this segment, making it a highly strategic and entrepreneurial role. They will manage the full commercial process from initial engagement through campaign activation, measurement, and revenue expansion The right candidate does not thrive on running an existing playbook but finds success in white space and carving the path forward. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the CTV landscape, how app marketers and AI companies evaluate media across various measurement methodologies and how premium video can drive the next phase of growth for this client set. This person should be equally comfortable opening new doors, developing senior client relationships and translating market feedback into product insights This is an opportunity for an ambitious, highly strategic seller to help define an important new customer segment for a young and growing media platform.
Job Description
Core Responsibilities
  • Own the activation, revenue growth, and long-term development of your book of Mobile & Tech accounts.

  • Build account plans that identify key stakeholders, business objectives, measurement requirements, activation barriers, and opportunities for expansion.

  • Develop a qualified pipeline and convert high-potential prospects into active Universal Ads customers.

  • Manage the sales process from prospecting and discovery through proposal development, measurement alignment, campaign launch, and revenue expansion.

  • Build relationships with growth, user acquisition, marketing, analytics, measurement, procurement, and executive stakeholders.

  • Educate sophisticated performance marketers on how CTV and premium video can complement existing growth channels and drive measurable business outcomes.

  • Partner with customer success, measurement, product, partnerships, and creative teams to reduce activation friction and accelerate time to launch.

  • Identify opportunities to expand customer investment across campaigns, objectives, audiences, markets, and measurement approaches.

  • Maintain strong pipeline management, revenue forecasting, account documentation, and next-step discipline.

  • Bring structured customer feedback to the Executive Director and cross-functional teams, helping identify product improvements and recurring market needs.

  • Contribute to the continued improvement of the Mobile sales playbook by sharing customer insights, successful approaches, objections, and measurement learnings.

  • Represent Universal Ads with credibility in customer meetings and relevant industry settings.

Preferred Experience
  • 5+ years of direct sales or strategic account experience in app promotion, performance marketing, programmatic, CTV, social, mobile, or related advertising sales.

  • Demonstrated success activating new advertisers and growing revenue across a portfolio of sophisticated accounts.

  • Experience selling to app marketers, growth marketers, AI companies, gaming companies, fintech, digital services, or subscription-based businesses.

  • Established relationships within the Mobile and performance marketing ecosystem.

  • Strong understanding of performance marketing metrics, measurement frameworks, attribution challenges, incrementality, and growth media buying behavior.

  • Experience working with Ads Manager buying tools, MMPs, incrementality partners, and advanced measurement solutions.

  • Ability to navigate complex organizations, develop compelling commercial narratives, and translate technical capabilities into clear customer value.

  • Strong pipeline management, forecasting, negotiation, and account planning skills.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset and comfort operating in a growing business where the sales motion and product are continuing to evolve.

Salary:
New York Pay Range: $207,050.94 - $310,576.41
Additional Range: This job can be performed in Illinois with a Pay Range of $181,169.57 - $323,517.09. This job can be performed in California with a good faith estimated pay range upon hire of $155,288.20 USD - $287,570.74.
Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within the posted range for this role at the time of posting dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. The application window is 30 days from the date job is posted, unless the number of applicants requires it to close sooner or later.
Targeted Commission: $140,000.00
Our sales compensation programs offer the potential for significant upside above targeted earnings for those who overachieve their sales targets.
