Sr. ETL Developer – ETL, DataStage, Integration

1.) Must have 7 years experience as a ETL Developer.

2.) Must have Infosphere Datastage (preferred version is v11.5) development experience.

3.) Has to have experience integrating data from multiple sources.

We’re looking for an experienced DataStage ETL Developer to help us centralize data from numerous source systems into a new, logical data warehouse environment. Candidate must have experience with recent versions of IBM Infosphere Datastage as v11.5 will be used. Must be able to work with data architects to design integration plans and then develop jobs that perform reliably and within performance expectations. Candidate will work within a collaborative, cross-functional BI & DW team – and therefore strong communication skills are a must. Experience with QualityStage and Information Analyzer are a plus, as is experience with Change Data Delivery (CDD) and Streams.

Experience working with REST services before, specifically, calling REST services from DataStage and returning/processing XML/JSON… and has some knowledge of oAuth (or similar security protocols).

The impact effects VSP as it internally helps with management and streaming lining their process which will thus, effect their external clients who use their products. Overall, this will increases revenue and promote effiecincy in the organization.
