Proof of work

The team

We're looking for a Senior Group Product Manager to own and drive the strategy, roadmap, and execution across our Earn and Borrow product suite. You'll lead a team of two Product Managers and serve as the domain expert across staking, stablecoins, DeFi yield, onchain rewards, and our horizontal Autoearn product, as well as our Borrow offering. This is a high-autonomy leadership role reporting into a senior product leader who also oversees our embeddable offerings and B2B2C pay/rewards services division.

The opportunity
  • Earn products end-to-end: Staking (native, liquid, pooled), stablecoin yield strategies, DeFi integrations, onchain rewards programs

  • Autoearn: Horizontal product spanning multiple asset types — define positioning, optimization levers, and cross-product dependencies

  • Borrow: Crypto-collateralized lending — product strategy, risk parameters, and UX

  • Team leadership: Manage and develop 2 PMs; set priorities, remove blockers, raise the bar on execution quality

  • Roadmap & strategy: Define quarterly and annual plans; align with eng, design, risk, compliance, and business stakeholders

  • Metrics: Own KPIs across AUM, yield competitiveness, utilization rates, revenue contribution, and user activation/retention within Earn & Borrow

Skills you should HODL
  • 8+ years in product management, with 3+ years managing other PMs

  • Deep fluency in crypto earn/yield products — you understand staking mechanics, validator economics, liquid staking derivatives, DeFi yield sources, and lending/borrow models at a protocol level

  • Track record shipping and scaling financial products with meaningful AUM or TVL

  • Comfortable navigating regulatory and compliance constraints across jurisdictions without losing product velocity

  • Strong analytical chops — can build and interrogate models around yield spreads, risk-adjusted returns, utilization curves

  • Experience working cross-functionally with risk, compliance, legal, and treasury teams

  • Ability to context-switch between strategic planning and tactical unblocking across multiple product lines

  • Clear, concise communicator — can present to executives and write specs that engineers want to build from

Nice to haves
  • Direct experience with onchain rewards or loyalty programs

  • Background in building horizontal/platform products that serve multiple verticals

  • Familiarity with B2B2C or embedded finance distribution models

  • Prior work at a top-tier exchange, DeFi protocol, or fintech with crypto exposure

  • Active DeFi user with firsthand experience across major protocols

Unless a specific application deadline is stated in the job posting, applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.

What you need to know about the San Francisco Tech Scene

San Francisco and the surrounding Bay Area attracts more startup funding than any other region in the world. Home to Stanford University and UC Berkeley, leading VC firms and several of the world’s most valuable companies, the Bay Area is the place to go for anyone looking to make it big in the tech industry. That said, San Francisco has a lot to offer beyond technology thanks to a thriving art and music scene, excellent food and a short drive to several of the country’s most beautiful recreational areas.

Key Facts About San Francisco Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 365,500; 13.9% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Google, Apple, Salesforce, Meta
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, fintech, consumer technology, software
  • Funding Landscape: $50.5 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Sequoia Capital, Andreessen Horowitz, Bessemer Venture Partners, Greylock Partners, Khosla Ventures, Kleiner Perkins
  • Research Centers and Universities: Stanford University; University of California, Berkeley; University of San Francisco; Santa Clara University; Ames Research Center; Center for AI Safety; California Institute for Regenerative Medicine
