Our Story

Campfire is a next-gen core accounting platform built for modern mid-market finance teams. We help them close fast and scale even faster. Our platform replaces outdated legacy ERPs and manual accounting processes with automation-driven solutions that simplify and accelerate finance workflows. In the past year alone, we have grown 10x, driven by strong customer demand and a product that delivers real results for accounting & finance teams. We are scaling quickly and building the future of finance by giving teams the clarity, control, and strategic visibility they need to lead with confidence.

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Implementation Manager to lead our most complex customer implementations and help strengthen how implementations are delivered across the team.

Senior Implementation Managers partner closely with finance leaders and technical teams to deploy the platform across complex accounting environments, ensuring financial workflows, reporting structures, and data migrations are implemented accurately.

In addition to leading implementations, this role helps evolve our implementation approach by contributing to playbooks, migration patterns, and internal best practices.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead the most complex and high-impact customer implementations from kickoff through go-live

  • Guide customers through configuring the platform to align with their accounting workflows, financial reporting structures, and operational processes

  • Oversee complex financial data migrations from ERP, GL, and related financial systems while ensuring data accuracy

  • Lead testing and validation of financial workflows, reporting outputs, and system configuration

  • Identify risks or financial/data discrepancies early and drive solutions to keep implementations on track

  • Serve as a senior point of contact for customers and an escalation resource for Implementation Managers

  • Partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Customer Experience teams to resolve complex workflow or technical challenges

  • Contribute to improving implementation playbooks, migration approaches, and internal best practices

  • Ensure a smooth transition to Customer Experience or Support after go-live

What Success Looks Like
  • Customers successfully launch with core financial workflows and reporting fully operational

  • Complex financial data migrations reconcile accurately after implementation

  • Implementations stay on schedule with minimal rework or escalations

  • Implementation Managers have support when navigating challenging customer situations

  • Improvements to implementation playbooks and processes that strengthen how the team operates

What We’re Looking For
  • Strong experience leading complex software implementations or financial system deployments

  • Deep understanding of accounting processes and financial workflows (GL, close, reporting, reconciliations)

  • Background in accounting, finance, consulting, or financial systems implementation (CPA strongly preferred)

  • Experience working with ERP or financial systems such as NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks, Sage, or Oracle

  • Comfort managing complex data migrations, system configuration, and financial data validation

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with finance stakeholders, technical teams, and customers

  • Ability to mentor and guide team members while leading complex implementations

  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects in a fast-paced environment
