About us

Parallel is a web infrastructure company. Our products are used by leading businesses in sales, marketing, insurance, and coding to build best-in-class AI agents with flexible and powerful programmatic access to the web.

We've raised $230 million from Kleiner Perkins, Sequoia, Index Ventures, Spark Capital, Khosla Ventures, First Round, and Terrain to build the web for AIs. We're currently valued at $2 billion and we're forming a world-class team of engineers, designers, marketers, sellers, researchers, and operational experts to achieve our mission.

Job: You will own accounting at Parallel end to end, from month-end close and financial reporting to technical accounting, audits, tax, and statutory compliance. You'll manage multi-entity accounting as Parallel scales internationally, own our relationships with external accounting, tax, and audit partners, and drive the systems and future ERP decisions that support a fast-growing business. You'll partner closely with revenue leadership and the finance lead on quote-to-cash improvements and billing operations, and you'll build the processes and infrastructure that let the accounting function scale without breaking.

You: Have 8+ years of accounting experience at a high-growth technology company, with a track record of taking on increasing ownership of the function. You have deep expertise in US GAAP, technical accounting, and SaaS revenue recognition, and you're comfortable with multi-entity and international operations, transfer pricing, and inter-company accounting. You understand billing systems and revenue operations well enough to partner directly with commercial teams, not just report on them after the fact. You're a builder who wants to design the systems, not just operate them, and you stay close to the details even as you take on more scope. Bonus if you've led an ERP migration or can write SQL to answer your own questions instead of waiting on someone else's dashboard.

  • Major Tech Employers: Google, Apple, Salesforce, Meta
