Overview:
We seek a hands-on, results-driven channel marketing leader passionate about driving sell-through in big-box and specialty retail for consumer electronics and home appliances. This high-impact individual contributor role owns the strategy, development, and flawless execution of channel-specific marketing programs for our consumer electronic and home appliance products across national enterprise accounts.

This role partners closely with sales, product marketing, and retail operations teams to translate brand and product objectives into compelling, revenue-driving in-store and online experiences while meeting aggressive ROI, timing, and performance targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end channel marketing programs from concept through execution for new product launches, promotions, resets, and seasonal initiatives.
  • Develop and implement channel-specific strategies, including co-op/MDF funding, promotions, in-store activations, digital campaigns, and retailer-specific assets that drive awareness, consideration, and velocity.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key enterprise retail partners (e.g., Best Buy, Walmart, Amazon, Costco) and their marketing, merchandising, and e-commerce teams.
  • Negotiate and manage joint marketing funds, co-branded campaigns, and promotional calendars with retail partners.
  • Collaborate with internal creative, product, and sales teams to create tailored marketing toolkits, signage, digital assets, demos, and training materials for retail channels.
  • Own channel marketing budgets, timelines, and performance metrics; deliver actionable ROI analysis and insights to optimize spend and impact.
  • Conduct competitive benchmarking, retailer performance audits, and market analysis; provide recommendations to improve share, sell-through, and category positioning.
  • Partner with sales to develop incentive programs, spiffs, and training to motivate retail associates and drive product advocacy at point of sale.

Experience Required:

  • 6 – 8 years of progressive channel marketing, trade marketing, or retail account marketing experience (consumer electronics and/or home appliance category experience, especially with TV/audio/soundbars or kitchen appliances, is a strong plus but not required).
  • Proven track record working directly with big-box/enterprise retailers, understanding their marketing processes, co-op/MDF guidelines, promotional calendars, and how to influence in-store and online execution.
  • Deep knowledge of channel marketing best practices: promotions, incentives, digital integration, in-store merchandising support, ROI measurement, and sell-through drivers.
  • Hands-on experience managing marketing budgets, negotiating joint funds, and executing nationwide programs.
  • Strong understanding of consumer electronics retail dynamics: product positioning, demo experiences, traffic flow, competitive landscape, and theft prevention considerations.
  • Exceptional project management skills — this role hits deadlines and performance targets without excuses.
  • Willingness to travel (retailer meetings, store checks, trade shows, product launches, HQ visits).
