THE ROLE

Sr. Manager, Global Communications

We’re looking for a Senior Manager of Global Communications to help lead Quince’s media strategy and external storytelling as the company enters its next stage of growth.

This role requires someone who understands that communications is not just about announcements, it’s about shaping how the market understands a company over time.

The ideal candidate is a strong media operator who can develop relationships with journalists, identify the stories that matter, and translate complex ideas into clear narratives. They should be equally comfortable drafting a press release, preparing executives for interviews, or identifying a larger story about how Quince’s model is reshaping the retail industry.

This role will work closely with the Head of Brand Strategy & Narrative and senior leadership to help define and scale the communications function at Quince.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute proactive global media strategies across business, retail, technology, and consumer outlets
  • Build and maintain relationships with key journalists and editors across outlets such as BoF, Bloomberg, WSJ, WWD, Vogue Business, and Modern Retail
  • Identify and develop story angles that highlight Quince’s manufacturer-to-consumer model, category expansion, and global growth
  • Draft and edit press materials including press releases, media briefs, executive commentary, and background documents
  • Prepare executives for interviews through briefing materials, talking points, and media training
  • Partner with cross-functional teams across product, merchandising, and growth to develop communications strategies for launches and milestones
  • Manage external PR agencies across international markets
  • Track and report media coverage and communications performance metrics
  • Help establish scalable communications systems and processes as Quince grows
  • Monitor the broader retail and consumer landscape to identify relevant media opportunities

Qualifications

Required:

  • 6–10+ years of experience in public relations, communications, or media strategy
  • Experience working with consumer brands, retail platforms, or high-growth technology companies
  • Strong media relationships across business, retail, and consumer press
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills
  • Experience managing agency partners and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Ability to translate complex ideas into clear and compelling narratives
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneous

Pay Range: $140,000 - $170,000

All posted ranges are reflective of base salary and may vary depending upon experience level and location. Bonus and equity may also be provided for eligible roles.
