This role sits at the intersection of data science, MarTech, and organizational change: building the models and tools that determine which accounts and contacts to pursue and how to engage them, while also leading the broader shift in how the marketing operations organization works with AI day to day.

Reporting to the Director of Marketing Operations, this is a working leadership role with a team of 1+ reports to support the function and future potential for team growth. You will lead the AI & Transformation work-stream within the Marketing Operations (MOps) team and will ship production models and automations directly, while also setting the standards, governance, and enablement programs that allow the marketing operations team adopt AI responsibly and effectively. This role will be responsible for setting the strategy and standards for accelerating Marketing Operations’ AI and automation adoption, while execution will be owned by peers leading our Campaign & Data Operations and Technology Strategy & Operations workstreams also within MOps.

Location - Hybrid in Austin. TX, in the office 3 days per week (Mon, Tues, & Thurs) is preferred. We are flexible on remote working from home, if you are located in the USA and reside in one of the following states - CT, FL, GA, *IL, KS, MA, ME, NC, NJ, NY, OH, OR, TX or VA.

What You’ll be Doing

AI Use Case Strategy & Roadmap:

  • Identify, define, and shape the highest priority AI use cases for the Marketing Operations team

  • Define the scoring architecture for predictive contact & lead scoring and select the model approach in partnership with the Data & AI team and our Campaign & Data Operations lead in MOps, documenting rationale and validation methodology

  • Design & deploy agentic workflows that automate multi-step marketing operations tasks (e.g., campaign QA, reporting assembly, list hygiene, list import) with human-in-the-loop checkpoints where risk warrants it

  • Evaluate emerging generative AI capabilities (new model releases, agent frameworks) for applicability to Marketing Operations, and pilot before broader rollout

  • Establish AI model governance and data quality measures

Change Management & Enablement:

  • Champion change management, enablement, and adoption of new automated workflows, agentic capabilities, and process changes through training, communications, playbooks, enablement sessions, and stakeholder engagement

  • Establish feedback loops with end users and partners within the Data & AI team to bring their perspective to planning, implementation, and optimization

  • Identify and lead process redesign opportunities where AI removes manual steps entirely, rather than simply speeding up the old process

In-Product AI Utilization & Feature Governance:

  • Partnering with our Technology Strategy team in Marketing Ops, consult on the assessment of AI capabilities available in our existing technology stack and make recommendations on build/buy/usage Govern shadow AI: any AI feature activated outside this process is evaluated to determine if it should be integrated or deactivated

  • Other duties as needed

  About You

  • Degree in Marketing, Information Systems, or equivalent applied experience

  • 6-8+ years in marketing operations, revenue operations, or applied data science, with at least 2 years leading predictive modeling or AI/automation initiatives

  • Prior people management experience, or demonstrated readiness to manage a small team

  • Hands-on fluency with Salesforce.com, a marketing automation platform (Pardot, Marketo, Eloqua, HubSpot, or equivalent); working knowledge of SQL and Python required

  • Experience with or working knowledge of intent data platforms (6sense, Bombora, G2) and generative AI tooling in a business context

  • Track record of translating model output into workflows that Sales and Marketing adopt

  • Curiosity and confidence to explore new agentic AI and automation capabilities; with a focus on delivering AI initiatives responsibly.

  • Comfort in communicating impact to senior stakeholders

  • You align with our values Curiosity, Integrity, Kindness, Humility, & Builders and are committed to creating an environment where these values flourish in our teams
