About the Role:

The Senior Manager will report into the Consumer PR Director. The Tubi communications team gets the opportunity to tell the Tubi story to a wide variety of audiences from consumers and partners to advertisers and more. Tubi’s unique platform enables unmatched creativity in storytelling making the communications function fun and energizing. We’re looking for a strategic, organized media-savvy storyteller and creative strategist who can expertly lead product, consumer and creator program announcements with internal and external partners. You will be responsible for cross functional project management, managing agency partners, maintaining a steady drumbeat of national PR initiatives, and finding creative ways to turn press coverage into opportunities to drive awareness for Tubi’s brand, mission and product offerings. 

This is a hybrid role based out of our San Francisco, Los Angeles or New York office. You must be willing to travel to our office 2 days/week. 

What You'll Do:

  • Orchestrate consumer news moments and a steady drumbeat of press coverage around product launches, seasonal moments, brand campaigns, creator announcements, data-driven lists and trend reports.
  • Lead  the product narrative and feature announcements that deliver against Tubi’s brand promise and value propositions.
  • Build consumer PR campaigns that articulate on Tubi’s Rabbit holes, illustrates fandoms and meets ownable cultural moments 
  • Lead creative storyline campaigns leveraging insights/data to elevate the Tubi brand 
  • Partner with the Tubi for Creator team to provide support for the program, slates and momentum
  • Work cross functionally with team members in marketing, engineering, legal, product, social, creative, ad sales, publicity and more to ensure programs and campaigns are holistic.
  • Develop communications materials including messaging, media statements, press releases, blog posts, and presentations. 
  • Prepare and media-train Tubi’s consumer spokespeople for press interviews. 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new media (podcasts, newsletters etc), national tech media and lifestyle press. 
  • Manage external agency and drive meaningful, consistent consumer coverage in local and national press.

Your Background:

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, or equivalent work experience 
  • 7-8 years of proven communications experience; experience with consumer, technology and adtech companies are preferred.
  • You can take technical and analytic concepts and communicate them in simple and compelling ways. 
  • Deep curiosity for culture, niche communities, and emerging trends, with a proven ability to connect those insights to product, creator and consumer initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver high impact strategic external communication plans and results.
  • Well versed in managing complex issues and multiple priorities with sound judgment and adaptability.
  • Strong media relations experience and relationships not only with traditional journalists but with emerging outlets.
  • Excellent writer and detail-oriented editor with knowledge of journalistic style.
  • Accomplished communicator and presenter with a track record of success and exceptional business partnering at all levels of an organization.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is is listed annually below. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, long-term incentive plan, and various benefits including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents.
