This is an opportunity to help shape where we invest, how we operate, and what we build next.

We’re looking for a curious, analytically strong finance professional who wants to work close to the business and see their recommendations put into action. You’ll partner directly with executive leaders to evaluate investments, understand performance drivers, and turn complex financial and operational data into clear decisions.

This role combines hands-on financial modeling, investment governance, and business partnership with the opportunity to modernize how finance works. You’ll take the initiative to improve the tools and processes behind planning and reporting, using automation, advanced analytics, and AI to drive greater productivity, accuracy, and clarity.

This role is for someone who enjoys getting into the details, questioning assumptions, and explaining what the business should do next.

What you’ll own:
  • Shape investment decisions. Build the business cases behind capital projects and strategic investments. Challenge assumptions, weigh risks and returns, and recommend where to commit resources. Track outcomes to strengthen the next decision.
  • Model what comes next. Build driver-based plans, forecasts, and scenarios that help leaders explore options before committing to them. Show how changes in spending, staffing, timing, and execution affect financial outcomes.
  • Connect capital spending to execution. Partner with project owners across engineering, IT, facilities, and other business functions, along with accounting, to clarify project costs, improve capital tracking, and support sound capitalization decisions.
  • Uncover opportunities to improve performance. Dig into headcount, operating expenses, and project spending to find what’s driving results. Surface emerging risks, identify opportunities, and work with business partners to turn recommendations into action.
  • Bring a point of view to leadership. Translate complex financial and operational data into clear recommendations. Build analyses, dashboards, and presentations that focus executive discussions on the decisions that matter.
  • Build better ways for finance to work. Move manual, Excel-heavy workflows into AI-enabled tools and purpose-built solutions. Take improvements from idea to implementation, making recurring analysis and reporting more accurate, efficient, and useful.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • U.S. Citizen
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, accounting, strategic finance, business operations, or a related analytical role, with demonstrated ownership of financial models and business recommendations.
  • An MBA in Finance or Accounting will substitute as experience and we will consider candidates with a strong academic background plus three years of experience
  • Strong financial modeling skills and a solid understanding of accounting fundamentals, including accruals, capitalization, depreciation, and how the financial statements connect.
  • Ability to distill large volumes of financial and operational data into clear insights and well-supported recommendations, while making assumptions and uncertainty clear.
  • Confidence working with business leaders, asking thoughtful questions, and constructively challenging assumptions.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience working with financial systems or large datasets.
  • A practical understanding of how AI can improve financial analysis and workflows, with the initiative to test new approaches, validate outputs, and implement repeatable tools and processes that deliver measurable improvements.
  • Initiative, attention to detail, and the ability to take an open-ended question through analysis, recommendation, and follow-through.
  • A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, or a related analytical field, or equivalent relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated success in a PE/PE-backed company and or start up envionment.

What success looks like:

Your work shapes where we invest and how we run the business. Leaders trust you to explain performance, clarify tradeoffs, and recommend action. You spot risks early, help teams turn opportunities into measurable results, and use AI-enabled tools to make planning and reporting faster and more insightful.
