The Role

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Product Manager to assist with the design, documentation, and execution of complex banking back office workflows. This role will manage the end-to-end product development for lending and deposits related workflows.

This Product Manager will translate lending regulations, operational processes, and business rules into clear product requirements, data models, validation logic, design prototypes, and automation-ready specifications that engineering and operations teams can execute against.

This role will also lead lightweight UX research and use AI-assisted design tools to rapidly produce workflow prototypes and interaction specs that engineering teams can build from.

Key Responsibilities
  • Translate complex lending workflows, regulations, and edge cases into clear, build-ready product requirements

  • Design and maintain validation rules for application data, collateral, documents, and compliance

  • Serve as the subject matter expert for lending logic, decision frameworks, and system interaction

  • Partner with engineering to deliver scalable automation, integrations, and rule-based solutions

  • Identify automation opportunities that reduce manual review and downstream rework

  • Ensure product decisions support regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and business growth

  • Manage and prioritize roadmap feature requirements with operational pain points, and long-term platform strategy

  • Conduct UX research (customer interviews, workflow shadowing, usability testing) to uncover pain points and validate solutions

  • Use AI-assisted design/prototyping tools to translate research insights into wireframes, screen flows, and clickable prototypes for engineering handoff

What We Are Looking For

  • 5+ years of Product Management experience in rule-based systems, validation frameworks, or decision logic

  • Analytical and systems-thinking mindset; comfortable operating in ambiguity and defining structure where none exists

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document complex logic in a structured, consumable way

  • Proven ability to translate regulatory requirements, business rules, and operational workflows into clear, build-ready product requirements

  • Strong cross-functional leadership skills with experience partnering closely with engineering, compliance, operations, and business teams

  • Demonstrated ability to run UX discovery and synthesize findings into product decisions and requirements

  • Experience creating prototypes (low-to-high fidelity) and communicating interaction details clearly to engineering

  • Familiarity with AI tools that accelerate research synthesis and prototype generation (e.g.,Claude Code, Codex, etc.)

Nice To Have

  • Experience with automation, decision engines, or document intelligence

  • Background working with compliance-heavy or regulated products

  • Experience working with complex platforms and system integrations

  • Experience operating in high-growth startup or scale-up environments

  • Experience partnering with or operating as a “PM + UX” hybrid in early-stage / fast-moving teams
