Job Description:

Role summary

The Senior Program Manager, Internal Processes & Sales Operations will develop, launch, and improve the internal processes and operational tools that support R&D and Sales Operations. This individual contributor role will coordinate work across Engineering, Product Management, Supply Chain, Sales Operations, Business Systems, and Software Development, turning business needs into clear processes, project plans, and operating routines.

The role will lead cross-functional follow-through for process and tool launches, including requirements, timelines, actions, communications, training, and adoption. It will also coordinate day-to-day operations and improvements for tools and enterprise systems such as quoting platforms, CRM and ERP; working with Sales, Software Development, and Business Systems to track issues and service expectations and ensure Sales has the information needed to prepare timely, accurate customer quotes.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop, document, and improve internal processes and workflows across Sales Operations, Engineering, Product Management and Supply Chain.
  • Coordinate cross-functional process and tool launches from requirements through implementation and adoption.
  • Build and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, dependencies, risks, and action items using Jira and other project-tracking tools.
  • Facilitate working sessions to clarify requirements, align teams, resolve open questions, and confirm owners and next steps.
  • Coordinate operational support and enhancements for the quoting tool, serving as a connection point between Sales, Software Development, and Business Systems.
  • Track tool issues, requests, and service-level commitments; follow up with the responsible teams and communicate status and impacts to stakeholders.
  • Ensure Sales has timely access to the product, configuration, pricing, and other information needed to prepare customer quotes.
  • Partner with Business Systems, Software Development, and functional teams to define requirements and implement, configure, and improve enterprise applications—such as ERP, CRM, and quoting tools—to support internal processes and Sales Operations.
  • Develop process documentation, training materials, communications, and other resources that support consistent use of new processes and tools.
  • Monitor adoption and performance, identify recurring gaps or handoff issues, and coordinate practical improvements.
  • Provide clear, concise status updates and escalate schedule, service, or readiness risks when needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, operations, supply chain, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in program management, product operations, sales operations, business operations, process improvement, or a related area.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional projects involving several teams and competing priorities.
  • Experience translating business requirements into system configurations, workflow changes, enhancements, or implementation plans in partnership with Business Systems or software teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to document, implement, and improve business processes.
  • Experience creating and maintaining project plans, timelines, milestones, dependencies, and action logs.
  • Working experience with Jira or a similar project and work-tracking tool.
  • Experience supporting a business application, software-enabled process, or operational tool; experience coordinating issue resolution and enhancement requests is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Product Management, Sales Operations, quoting, product development, or commercialization processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to facilitate discussions and communicate decisions, actions, and risks clearly.
  • Ability to influence and coordinate work across teams without direct authority.
