Summary:

As a Senior Sales Engineer, you will be the customer facing Subject Matter Expert for DataVisor’s Fraud and AML Platform solution. You will work throughout the sales process, from leading discovery on both business and technical discussions, matching the DataVisor solution to the client’s needs, and conducting demonstrations of the proposed solution and integration points back to the client. This role requires a deep understanding of our customers' business needs and the technical feature creation inside the DataVisor platform, and the ability to align DataVisor's solutions to achieve their strategic objectives. 


Responsibilities:

  • Business Discovery: Work closely with the Account Executive (AE) to discover and understand the customer requirements regarding fraud and compliance strategy from both a current and future state.
  • Technical Discovery: Work closely with the Account Executive (AE) and Solution Architect (SA) to discover and understand the customer requirements regarding integrations, e.g. data sources and 3rd party systems to integrate with, real time and/or batch requirements integration needs, turnaround times and latency requirements, high availability requirements, and security requirements. 
  • Customer Presentations and Demonstrations: Conduct presentations and demonstrations to explain proposed solutions and configurations to clients and stakeholders based on the customer’s business and technical needs. 
  • Technical Integration Meetings: Drive external and internal meetings throughout the Integration Scoping and Planning phase. Align with various client stakeholders and DataVisor teams to ensure the proposed plan meets the customer requirements, both business and technical, and are compatible with DataVisor system architecture. 
  • Knowledge Handoff and Technical Escalation: Use standard documentations to conduct knowledge transfer and internal Q&A sessions with DataVisor post-sales teams e.g. Delivery, Customer Success, Engineering, and Data Science. During the onboarding phase, serve as the technical escalation point for customers in case issues and misalignments happen during the delivery phase.   
  • Domain and Product Expertise: Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies, particularly in financial services, fraud prevention, AML practices, and machine learning, to provide cutting-edge solutions to clients. Stay updated on product knowledge, product configuration best practices, and workarounds for known issues. 
  • Presentations and & Demonstrations: Conduct presentations and demonstrations to explain proposed solutions and configurations to clients and stakeholders.
  • Request for Information / Request for Proposal contributor: Participate in strategy and completion of RFI/RFP responses. 

Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in customer-facing Sales Engineer or Solution Consulting roles with a focus in Fraud and Compliance (Anti-Money Laundering). 
  • 7+ years of selling into one of more of the following markets:
    1. Banks
    2. Credit Unions
    3. Fintechs
    4. Payment Processors
    5. e-Commerce 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills up and down an organization; equally comfortable talking with a C-Level or a front line user, as well as equally comfortable talking with a CFO or CTO. 
  • Ability to work in an autonomous, self starter environment with a focus on results
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required. 

Benefits
  • Base comp range: 140-180K per year, plus commission, commensurate with experience and quota.
