Role Overview: Senior Sales Recruiter
In Office, Monday-Friday | Irvine, CA

 

Joining the Talent Acquisition team at CoStar Group, you will play a critical role in fueling the growth of one of the company's largest and most strategic organizations. Our people strategy is aligned with CoStar Group's mission to attract, develop, and retain world-class talent, ensuring our sales teams have the talent needed to drive continued business growth.

 

As a Senior Sales Recruiter, you will serve as a strategic talent advisor to business leaders, partnering closely with our Executive Sales leaders, Regional Directors/VPs, and HR Business Partners to attract and hire top-performing sales talent at all levels. You will own the full recruitment lifecycle for high-volume and specialized sales hiring across multiple markets, with a primary focus on Account Executives, Regional Directors and other revenue-generating roles. This role requires a recruiter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, leverages data to drive hiring decisions, and possesses the creativity and persistence needed to proactively engage passive talent.

 

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for multiple sales requisitions across CoStar Group's portfolio of brands, with a focus on CoStar, our flagship product.
  • Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies to identify, engage, and attract top sales talent from target companies and industries.
  • Build and maintain robust talent pipelines that support both immediate hiring needs and future growth initiatives.
  • Consult with hiring leaders on market intelligence, talent availability, interview strategy, candidate assessment, compensation recommendations, and offer negotiations.
  • Partner with sales leadership to understand hiring demand, forecast talent needs, and proactively develop recruitment plans.
  • Evaluate candidates against a combination of performance indicators, sales aptitude, career progression, and cultural alignment.
  • Leverage recruiting technologies, AI tools, LinkedIn Recruiter, ZoomInfo, networking, referrals, and competitive market research to identify talent.
  • Manage candidate experience from initial outreach through offer acceptance, ensuring timely communication and a best-in-class hiring process.
  • Analyze recruiting metrics and pipeline data to identify trends, improve conversion rates, and drive hiring outcomes.
  • Build strong relationships across the organization and serve as a trusted advisor to hiring managers and business leaders.
  • Stay informed on market trends, competitive intelligence, and industry best practices to strengthen recruiting effectiveness.

 

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required from an accredited, not-for-profit, in-person college/university.  
  • A track record of commitment to prior employers.  
  • 4+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience in a corporate or agency environment OR 4+ years of successful sales experience.
  • Experience managing multiple requisitions simultaneously in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.
  • Proven ability to influence hiring decisions or decision makers and effectively partner with senior business leaders.
  • Experience developing proactive sourcing strategies and building candidate or sales pipelines through direct outreach and market mapping.
  • Strong understanding of recruiting best practices, employment laws, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent organization, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Curiosity and enthusiasm for leveraging AI and technology to improve recruiting efficiency and effectiveness.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience recruiting for B2B sales organizations including roles such as Account Executives, Business Development Representatives, Sales Directors, and Sales Leaders
  • Experience recruiting high-volume sales talent, including SaaS Account Executives, Business/Sales Development Representatives, or other quota-carrying sales professionals.
  • Experience supporting hiring classes, volume recruiting initiatives, or multi-market sales hiring programs.
  • Knowledge of sales performance metrics and the ability to assess candidate success indicators such as quota attainment, rankings, promotion history, and career progression.
  • Experience recruiting within SaaS, technology, digital advertising, commercial real estate, data and analytics, financial services, or related industries.
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (Eightfold preferred), Workday, LinkedIn Recruiter, ZoomInfo, and other sourcing platforms.
  • Demonstrated success sourcing passive candidates and converting talent from competitive organizations.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to translate recruiting strategy into measurable hiring results.
  • Experience supporting director-level and senior sales leadership hiring.

The final salary or hourly rate offered for this role will fall within the range set forth below based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, geographic location, skills, and competencies.

 

Base Compensation: $117,000.00 - $127,000.00 Annually
