About This Opportunity
CTI Staffing is partnering with a leading retail organization to find a Senior Scrum Master / Agile Delivery Lead for its program management office. This role is remote.
You'll support three to four Scrum teams working on initiatives that typically run 8 to 12 months, starting with retail in-store applications. The teams include internal staff and outside delivery partners, and the work blends Agile and Waterfall approaches. This role is about leading and coaching teams, not just running meetings.
What You'll Do
- Lead Scrum and Kanban teams through planning, delivery and continuous improvement
- Facilitate roadmap, quarterly and sprint planning across multiple teams
- Stand up new Agile teams, including Sprint 0 and team working agreements
- Partner with Product Management to align the roadmap, backlog and priorities
- Guide teams made up of internal staff and external delivery partners
- Use Agile metrics to spot risks and trends and improve predictability
- Assess team maturity and build targeted coaching plans
- Resolve risks, dependencies and impediments across teams and stakeholders
Requirements
What You Bring
Must-Have:
- Deep, hands-on experience with Agile principles, practices and delivery models
- Experience supporting multiple Scrum or Kanban teams at the same time
- Strong experience with roadmap, quarterly and sprint planning
- Experience standing up new teams and setting team norms
- Experience leading teams that include internal and external partners
- Experience using Agile metrics to improve delivery predictability
- Proven coaching experience, including maturity assessment and growth planning
- Ability to work where Agile and Waterfall coexist
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience with Agile at scale (SAFe, Scrum at Scale or similar)
- Agile or delivery certifications
- Retail or in-store application experience
- Experience in a PMO environment
Technical Environment: Agile work management and reporting tools, hybrid Agile/Waterfall delivery.
