We’re actively seeking a technically capable and motivated Senior Data Integration Engineer to join our growing Investment Technology team in Newport Beach. This role focuses on building and maintaining scalable ETL/ELT pipelines that support analytics and reporting across asset management, investment accounting, and investment operations domains. You'll work with technologies such as Oracle, Snowflake, Informatica, Python, Azure DevOps, and modern data integration platforms while partnering with business and technology teams to deliver scalable data solutions. This role supports critical investment capabilities including portfolio management, trading, investment accounting, security master data, pricing, positions, and regulatory reporting.

How You Will Make an Impact

  • Design, develop, optimize, and support scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines using SQL, Informatica, Oracle, and cloud-based technologies.
  • Partner with developers, architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to define integration solutions and ensure data accuracy and usability.
  • Lead technical design discussions and provide guidance to junior team members on data integration best practices.
  • Contribute to data architecture and modernization initiatives, including migration of legacy solutions to cloud-based platforms, data warehouse design, and enterprise integration strategies.
  • Participate in the software development lifecycle, including CI/CD practices and infrastructure automation using Azure Pipeline.

The Experience You Will Bring

  • Proficiency in SQL and hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools (Informatica preferred).
  • Advanced knowledge of Oracle SQL and PL/SQL for data transformation, performance tuning, and data integration.
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as Snowflake.
  • Understanding data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and data integration patterns.
  • Experience designing data warehouse and dimensional models to support reporting and analytics.
  • Experience integrating data from APIs, files, databases, and cloud platforms.
  • Working knowledge of Python and experience developing data processing scripts and automation.
  • Exposure to version control and DevOps tools such as Git and Azure Pipelines.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in an agile, team-oriented environment.
  • Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn and grow.

What Will Make You Stand Out

  • Experience implementing modern ELT frameworks such as DBT and Matillion within Snowflake environments.
  • Exposure to enterprise scheduling and orchestration tools such as Control-M.
  • Experience working with investment management platforms, investment accounting systems, or financial market data.
  • Knowledge of cloud-native architecture and data modernization initiatives.
  • A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous learning, automation, and technology transformation.

Education and Experience

  • 8+ years of experience designing, developing, and supporting enterprise ETL/ELT and data integration solutions.
  • BS Degree: IT, CS, Data Science or Statistics or equivalent experience
  • Strong expertise in SQL, Oracle, and data integration development
  • Experience with ETL/ELT frameworks, data warehousing, and dimensional modeling.
  • Experience with Python for automation, scripting, and data processing preferred.
  • Experience supporting cloud-based data platforms such as Snowflake preferred.

Base Pay Range:

The base pay range noted represents the company’s good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location. Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.
