FocusKPI is seeking a Sr. Technical Sourcer - Executive/Research to join one of our clients, a high-tech SaaS company. The main requirement (skill set) is to source candidates with experience in AI/ML Research and Leadership/Executive roles in Consumer Electronics/Software Tech. 

The client is at the forefront of research and development in North America; join a high-performing, world-class Talent Acquisition team! They provide great visibility across multiple business segments, where you will work in a collaborative team environment with the broader HR team. They are looking for a Sr. Technical Sourcer to work closely with engineering teams to build a strong candidate pipeline across a broad spectrum of roles (Robotics, AI, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, SoC, Digital Health, Data Science) at various levels, including executive-level sourcing. Responsibilities include sourcing and screening candidates and consulting with recruiters and Hiring Managers throughout the hiring process.

Work Location: Mountain View, CA (Onsite role, 5 days/week)
Duration: 3-month contract with potential to extend depending on your performance
Pay Range: $55 - 67/hr

Responsibilities:
  • Develop impactful, proactive sourcing strategies that incorporate multi-channel search and sourcing techniques.
  • Build and maintain a strong network of potential candidates with an active market presence and a deep, research-oriented understanding of the industry.
  • Work closely with hiring teams to effectively source and qualify target candidates, set clear expectations, and demonstrate a strong understanding of broader business needs.
  • Promote their employer brand while utilizing various advertising techniques to attract top talent.
  • Measure conversion rates, including the number of passive candidates who turn into applicants, get invited to interviews, get offers, and get hired.
  • Demonstrate diversity awareness and utilize sourcing techniques that reach diverse populations.
  • Maintain market/business intelligence regarding the function and business unit. Align with hiring managers to build overall understanding of position requirements.
  • Work closely with supporting team members, recruiters, and coordinators to establish successful recruitment processes.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of sourcing experience within an Advanced Technology organization
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Experience sourcing for research scientist and engineer roles, and engaging with niche talent from unique sources. (Technical sourcing for heavy research scientist and research engineer roles, and leadership roles that come up occasionally.)
  • Experience working on technology leadership sourcing (mainly in areas of AI, GenAI, ML, CV, Robotics, etc.) for Director+ level positions.
  • History of finding potential candidates on social media and professional networks (eg LinkedIn, Slack, and GitHub).
  • Ability to analyze data, understand and present market data for sourcing strategies and calibration.
  • Expertise in sourcing talent focused on research skills through X-Ray searches of research publication sites, conferences, etc.
  • Candidates with experience sourcing in AI/ML Research and Leadership/Executive roles in Consumer Electronics/Software Technology as a mandatory skill set.
  • Candidates with sourcing experience for robotics-related roles.
  • Expertise in crafting and sending recruiting emails.
  • Experience coordinating with hiring managers to determine position requirements.
  • Experience working on innovative technology sourcing (mainly in areas of Robotics, AI, GenAI, ML, CV, etc.) positions.
  • Self-motivated individual with the ability to thrive in a team-based or independent environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Limited supervision and the exercise of discretion.
  • A tenacious drive to win and persistence to push beyond adversity to solve the most challenging problems.
