Responsibilities:
- Own and iterate on core user flows for our e-commerce storefront and internal tools, with a bias toward shipping and improving over time.
- Translate product requirements into high-fidelity designs that feel polished, intuitive, and on-brand.
- Contribute to and help evolve the design system: components, patterns, states, documentation.
- Think through edge cases, error states, and interaction details without being asked.
- Collaborate closely with engineering to ensure designs are feasible and land correctly in implementation.
- Use AI actively to accelerate iteration, explore variations, and move faster without sacrificing quality.
- Conduct user research, A/B testing, and analytics reviews to inform design decisions and drive key metrics like conversion and retention.
- Optimize product discovery, search and filtering, and checkout flows to enhance the overall customer journey.
- Partner with merchandising and product teams to align design solutions with business objectives, such as average order value and conversion rate.
- Stay ahead of e-commerce trends and headless commerce innovations to ensure our digital experiences remain competitive and cutting-edge.
- 5+ years of UX/UI design experience, primarily focused on e-commerce platforms and complex internal tooling.
- Strong Figma proficiency: components, auto-layout, variables, prototyping.
- Proven ability to produce high-quality work on tight timelines without losing attention to detail.
- Experience working with or building out a design system.
- Clear communicator who can collaborate across design and engineering without friction.
- Comfortable in ambiguity; you don't need a perfect brief to start making good decisions.
- Hands-on familiarity with integrating AI into your design workflow and a genuine willingness to push that further.
- Direct experience designing for modern e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, custom headless storefronts) or enterprise-grade internal tools.
- Motion design skills (After Effects, Lottie, Rive); we care about how things move.
- Front-end familiarity and experience working tightly with engineers on implementation.
