Job Overview
SCS Global Services is seeking a Senior UI/UX Designer to lead the design of intuitive, professional, customer facing web applications across the SCS technology portfolio. This role applies modern service design principles including customer journeys, service blueprints, and human-centered experience design, to shape how manufacturers, verification bodies, auditors, and platform partners interact with SCS digital products. The Senior UI/UX Designer will work closely with Project Management, Application Development, and business stakeholders to translate certification and audit workflows into clear, usable, and professional digital experiences.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design intuitive, professional looking user interfaces for internal and customer facing web applications
  • Develop customer journey maps and service blueprints that document end-to-end interactions across user roles (manufacturers, verifiers, auditors, certification bodies, and platform partners)
  • Apply modern service design methods to align digital experience design with the underlying business and operational processes
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions and identify opportunities to improve the customer experience
  • Create user flows, wireframes, high fidelity designs, and interactive prototypes to communicate and validate design solutions
  • Partner with Project Managers and Application Development teams to define problems, evaluate solutions, and make informed product decisions
  • Work closely with development teams throughout implementation to ensure the delivered experience meets design intent and user needs
  • Promote consistency, usability, responsiveness, and accessibility across web and mobile experiences
  • Translate complex, multi-role certification and audit workflows into clear, accessible user experiences
  • Stay current with emerging UX practices, technologies, and design tools and evaluate opportunities to improve our products and design process

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience) and
  • 5+ years of professional experience as a UI/UX Designer working on customer-facing web applications
  • Strategic Thinking: connects design decisions to product strategy and long-term user impact
  • People Management: experience coaching, developing, and managing designers at different levels
  • principles to create user-friendly products that meet business objectives
  • Extensive experience in Lean UX
  • Proven ability to produce customer journey maps and service blueprints as part of the design process
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating modern, professional interface design for business or enterprise web applications
  • Proficiency with Figma and/or Claude Design
  • Proficiency in service design methodology and human-centered design principles
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional product and engineering teams
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presenting design work to non-design stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience designing for certification, audit, compliance, or other multi-role B2B workflow platforms
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) for web applications
  • Experience contributing to or maintaining a formal design system
  • Proven success working in a fully remote, distributed team environment

Working Remotely
SCS Global Services is recruiting all open roles to be remote; allowing our employees the ability to work flexibly and allowing SCS Global Services as a company to diversify the experience and perspectives of our growing workforce. This is a home-office based role and may include travel with local, domestic, and/or international trips. Details will be clarified during the recruitment process.

Estimated Annual Salary
$85,018.60 - $130,000.00
