About Salesforce

Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn’t a buzzword — it’s a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.

Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You’re in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.

About the Role

Slack is seeking a Staff Business Intelligence Architect (GTM) to join the Data & Insights team. In this role, you will transform data into strategic insights that accelerate the growth and performance of the Slack business. You will partner closely with leaders across Go-to-Market, Engineering, Finance, and Data to solve complex business problems, shape strategic decisions, and build scalable analytics capabilities.

We're looking for someone who thrives in ambiguity, communicates with clarity, operates autonomously, and is motivated by creating measurable business impact. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with business acumen and enjoys turning complex data into actionable insights.

The Data & Insights team enables executives and business leaders to make better decisions through trusted data, thoughtful analysis, and compelling storytelling. We collaborate across the company to uncover opportunities, improve operational effectiveness, and equip teams with the intelligence they need to drive growth.

Success in this role requires balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution. You'll lead high-impact analytical initiatives, influence senior stakeholders, and build scalable solutions that empower teams to make data-driven decisions independently.

Slack values curiosity, inclusion, continuous learning, and collaboration. We believe diverse perspectives lead to better outcomes, and we're looking for people who are excited to learn, innovate, and raise the bar every day.

What You'll Do
  • Partner with Sales Strategy and GTM leaders to understand business priorities, identify growth opportunities, and influence strategic decisions.

  • Perform deep analytical investigations and translate findings into concise, executive-ready recommendations.

  • Design scalable analytical frameworks to identify trends, measure performance, and evaluate business opportunities.

  • Build intuitive self-service dashboards, reports, and data products that enable stakeholders to answer questions independently.

  • Collaborate with Data Engineering to design and maintain trusted data models that support operational reporting and advanced analytics.

  • Define and standardize business metrics to ensure consistent measurement across teams.

  • Develop AI-powered intelligence solutions that connect product usage, account health, customer engagement, and field activities into actionable workflows for GTM teams.

  • Create clear and compelling presentations, dashboards, and written narratives tailored to both technical and executive audiences.

  • Lead projects spanning the full analytics lifecycle, including data modeling, metric design, visualization, advanced analysis, and self-service enablement.

  • Help stakeholders understand not only what is happening, but why it matters and what actions should follow.

What You'll Bring
  • 8+ years of experience applying analytics to solve complex business problems.

  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and experience with at least one programming language for analytics, such as Python or R.

  • Strong experience building scalable BI solutions using platforms such as Tableau or Looker.

  • Demonstrated ability to create effective self-service analytics experiences.

  • Exceptional analytical rigor with strong attention to detail and data quality.

  • Outstanding communication and storytelling skills, with experience presenting to executive audiences.

  • Degree in a quantitative or technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or another quantitative field.

  • Proven track record of driving measurable business outcomes within Sales, Finance, Customer Success, Support, or other GTM organizations.

  • Deep understanding of GTM operating models and experience partnering with Sales Strategy and Sales Programs teams.

  • Ability to independently define ambiguous business problems, develop analytical approaches, and lead initiatives from concept through implementation.

  • Experience identifying growth opportunities through advanced analytics and translating insights into strategic recommendations.
