  • Serve as a key advisor to enterprise architecture, executive leadership, and cross-functional partners (Data and Analytics, CI/CD, Engineering) to design a roadmap for a  unified data platform supporting advanced analytics, reporting, and AI/ML use cases.
  • Cultivate and guide a community of senior domain and data architects, establishing the enterprise-level reference architectures, principles, and standards they use to execute our objectives.
  • Drive enterprise-wide transformation by establishing rigorous data modeling, lineage, and quality standards, embedding them into the fabric of Oura's development and operational lifecycles.
  • Facilitate strategic discussions with global stakeholders to ensure technology investments support overarching business goals, including data sovereignty and residency patterns across global jurisdictions.
  • Shape high-impact initiatives and RFPs as the primary architecture partner, ensuring every major technology decision aligns with Oura's strategic data vision and long-term operational efficiency.
Requirements
We would love to consider you for this role if you have:
  • 10+ years of experience acting at the Staff Enterprise level for a large organization.
  • 10+ years leading data transformation designing and implementing large scale data transformations with an emphasis on AI coding and governance.
  • A leading Enterprise Data Architect designing data platforms, models, and integrations across multiple domains (e.g., IT, Finance, HR, Operations, Supply Chain, Corporate).
  • Recognized as an expert in modern data architectures (e.g., cloud data warehouses/lakes, event streaming, semantic layers, BI/analytics tooling) and how they support analytics, reporting, and AI.
  • Hands-on experience establishing and enforcing data modeling, governance, and quality standards (e.g., lineage, catalog, classifications, SLAs) across teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with senior stakeholders (e.g., Finance, Operations, HR, Engineering, IT, GRC) to translate business ideas and strategic direction into pragmatic, scalable data designs.
  • Understands business architecture and capability engineering and how it relates to expansive, global data estates.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a track record of producing clear diagrams, documentation, and decision materials that help non-technical leaders understand data trade-offs and options.
  • Demonstrated AI fluency at an expert IC level: regular use of LLM assistants and agents (e.g., Claude) in data-focused work (research, modeling, documentation, impact analysis)
    • Strategically aligns the uses of AI and agents to facilitate faster design and delivery.
    • Human in the loop for verifying and refining AI output
    • Hands-on experience using AI-assisted development and AI app-building tools to ship real artifacts such as data analysis helpers, documentation generators, or internal tools that improve data architecture workflows.
