About the company

Our client is a software company.

The role

Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Takes ownership of application features across the whole software stack, from storage design and service interfaces through to the user-facing screens. The focus is on building AI-powered capabilities that people rely on in a live product, working from first scoping through to ongoing refinement alongside product and design.

What you'll do

- Design and build data models, backend services and APIs in TypeScript.

- Build React frontend views and user experiences for complex, data-heavy workflows.

- Create interfaces where AI-driven components can populate content, offer recommendations and guide users through tasks.

- Connect a long-established record-keeping system with a newer AI layer inside a regulated environment.

- Design scalable, enterprise-grade systems with fine-grained access controls, and carry out zero-downtime migrations without data loss.

- Take features from initial scoping to ongoing refinement alongside product, design and customer-facing teams.

- Help set the standard for AI-assisted development practices on the team.

Requirements

What we're looking for

- 6 to 10 years of software engineering experience.

- Experience at top-tier, fast-growing technology companies.

- Track record of driving a product from initial scoping and architecture through launch and follow-up improvements.

- Hands-on work shipping AI-powered software features that real users depend on, such as streaming, agent-based systems, evaluation or search.

- Full-stack experience across React, TypeScript and Python, with a server framework such as Node.js, NestJS or Flask.

Bonus points

- Experience building agent-driven user interfaces, where AI agents compose the screens.

- Degree from a highly regarded university.
