About Faire

Faire is a technology wholesale platform built on the belief that the future is local. Independent retailers around the globe collectively represent a multi-hundred-billion-dollar wholesale market that has historically been fragmented and offline. At Faire, we're using the power of tech, data, and machine learning to connect this thriving community of entrepreneurs across the globe. Picture your favorite boutique in town — we help them discover the best products from around the world to sell in their stores. With the right tools and insights, we believe that we can level the playing field so businesses can grow and local communities can thrive.

We’re looking for smart, resourceful and passionate people to join us as we power the shop local movement. If you believe in community, come join ours.

About this role

Discovery is at the heart of Faire's value to retailers. Our pillar's mission is to help retailers discover products and brands their customers will love — whether they know exactly what they're looking for, or are just browsing for something new.

This is one of the most consumer-facing PM roles at Faire. You will lead Inspire, the top-of-funnel discovery team responsible for Faire's most visited surfaces — the homepage, category pages, seasonal hubs, and global navigation — and you will own the vision and product strategy for the Faire mobile app.

Inspire is the team building the next generation of wholesale discovery: a curated, dynamic, and personalized experience that makes every visit engaging and every session an opportunity to find something new. We're incubating new formats — a new discovery feed, interactive merchandising modules, trend-forward content — that make Faire not just a place to transact, but a destination to explore.

The Faire app is one of our most significant growth levers. App-native retailers are among our highest-LTV cohorts, but there's a substantial gap between the app and desktop experience — in conversion, in evaluation quality, and in product craft. We're investing to close that gap, and this PM will own that vision: making the app feel like a product someone designed, not a website in a shell.

This role has direct executive visibility and real 0→1 mandate. You'll shape Inspire's strategy and the app's multi-year direction.

What you'll do
  • Become an expert on how retailers find inspiration, both on and off Faire, and how these moments influence product discovery and purchasing decisions.
  • Own the product vision and roadmap for Faire's top-of-funnel discovery experiences (homepage, category pages, seasonal hubs, global navigation) and the Faire mobile app.
  • Lead the mobile app redesign — establish a coherent app vision (information architecture, navigation, core interactions, craft) and drive progress against it in close partnership with design, engineering, and adjacent pod leads.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Design, Data Science, and Marketing to deliver experiences that balance retailer delight, brand voice, and measurable business impact.
  • Define and track success metrics for engagement and downstream conversion — running disciplined experiments and translating results into clear roadmap direction.
  • Work directly with Faire's CEO and senior leadership to shape Inspire's long-term strategy and the multi-year app vision.
Qualifications
  • 8+ years of product experience at a high-growth tech company or as a startup founder, with a track record of driving meaningful user and business impact.
  • Proven track record owning top-of-funnel or high-engagement consumer surfaces — feeds, homepages, browse experiences, or explore surfaces — ideally at a high-engagement platform (consumer social, e-commerce, marketplace, or content discovery). You've built products that create habits, not just convert transactions.
  • Mobile product depth — you've owned a native app experience as a primary product area, driven measurable improvement in app-specific metrics (conversion, engagement, retention), and worked hands-on with mobile engineering teams. You think natively in mobile UX patterns.
  • 0→1 experience — you've launched new products or experiences from scratch and know how to scope MVPs that prioritize learning without sacrificing quality.
  • Highly collaborative and persuasive communicator, with excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Deep user empathy — you care about understanding customer needs and creating thoughtful, impactful experiences.
