The Director of Executive Communications will lead and shape MongoDB's executive communication strategies, strengthen internal and external narratives, and provide strategic counsel to senior leadership on communication and visibility.

MongoDB is seeking a driven Staff IT Product Manager to lead the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of in our Quote to Revenue processes. In this role, you will be instrumental in the analysis, design, and implementation of Quote to Cash systems, ultimately enhancing operational efficiency and productivity across the organization. A key focus will be to scale Quote to Revenue processes by minimizing manual intervention and building tools for continuous improvement initiatives within the Quote to Cash framework.

We are looking to speak to candidates who are based in the San Francisco Bay Area or New York City for our hybrid working model.

Key Responsibilities and Impact:
  • Platform Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of our Quote to Cash platforms, driving launch efficiencies and scaling systems to support MongoDB 3.0
  • Relationship Building: Forge strong relationships with internal teams and business partners
  • Product Ownership: Own and drive the IT Product Roadmap for Quote to Cash, collaborating with partners to define scope and success criteria
  • Requirements Development: Apply analytical skills to work with business and product owners, developing requirements and user stories from product roadmaps
  • Delivery Team Support: Enhance the delivery team's effectiveness by working with business and product owners to clarify business objectives through the development and refinement of user stories
What we look for: Required Experience and Skills:
  • 10+ years of relevant product management experience with a proven track record of engaging stakeholders at all levels, OR 8 years of experience with a Master's degree or equivalent
  • Strong understanding of product configurations, pricing, quoting, contract management, and NetSuite Billing
  • Expertise in Salesforce and common go-to-market and finance business processes
  • Strong understanding and experience working with Agile/Scrum teams as a Product Owner
  • Strong domain expertise collaborating with cross-organizational teams, with a stellar track record of success
  • Knowledge of consumption-based business models
  • Strong data analysis and metrics skills to support assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions
Key Responsibilities:
  • Elicit, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for the Quote-to-Cash platform (preferably Salesforce CPQ), with an emphasis on Quoting and Order Management, into a clear, concise, and actionable product backlog
  • Organize and prioritize requirements into product releases that drive business value and align with broader company objectives
  • Collaborate with product leadership to define clear business KPIs for setting annual objectives and partner with GTM and Financial Planning teams to achieve business and product goals
  • Partner with peer Product Managers, Architecture, Engineering, and Program Management to identify, evaluate, and integrate first and third-party strategic technical solutions
  • Evaluate and recommend product innovations and enhancements that drive business value and maximize the ROI for the product(s) managed
  • Provide product oversight to ensure a consistent product experience regarding user controls, data definitions, business logic, and product aesthetics
  • Responsible for coordinating integrated, cross-functional testing and collaborating with individual product managers to define and execute product release strategies with end-users and technology leads

MongoDB’s base salary range for this role is posted below. Compensation at the time of offer is unique to each candidate and based on a variety of factors such as skill set, experience, qualifications, and work location. Salary is one part of MongoDB’s total compensation and benefits package. Other benefits for eligible employees may include: equity, participation in the employee stock purchase program, flexible paid time off, 20 weeks fully-paid gender-neutral parental leave, fertility and adoption assistance, 401(k) plan, mental health counseling, access to transgender-inclusive health insurance coverage, and health benefits offerings. Please note, the base salary range listed below and the benefits in this paragraph are only applicable to U.S.-based candidates.
