Staff Product Marketing Manager, Okta Device Access

We are seeking a Staff Product Marketing Manager to lead go-to-market strategy for Okta Device Access. This role will own positioning, messaging, launches, field enablement, and lifecycle adoption for a strategic product portfolio at the intersection of identity, endpoint experiences, and security.

Okta Device Access extends identity security to the first moment of the workday: signing in to a computer. It helps organizations strengthen device-login security, simplify onboarding and account experiences, and enable seamless, secure access from device sign-in to the applications employees need. The portfolio supports Windows and macOS environments and complements customers’ existing endpoint-management investments.

The ideal candidate is a strategic, technically credible product marketer who can translate sophisticated identity and platform capabilities into clear customer value, differentiated market narratives, and scalable commercial programs. You will work closely with Product, Engineering, Sales, Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, Digital Growth, and Pricing to bring new capabilities to market and drive durable customer adoption.

Responsibilities
  • Own the end-to-end go-to-market and lifecycle marketing strategy for Okta Device Access, including positioning, messaging, launches, field readiness, customer adoption, and expansion.
  • Develop a differentiated narrative for securing device sign-in and enabling seamless, passwordless, phishing-resistant access from device to applications.
  • Translate complex identity, authentication, device-security, and operating-system integration capabilities into compelling customer value propositions, use cases, and practical field plays.
  • Lead cross-functional launch planning and execution, including launch strategy, sales and partner enablement, customer communications, web and content strategy, internal readiness, and post-launch measurement.
  • Build and execute adoption programs that help customers advance phishing-resistant access and FastPass adoption, while identifying and addressing deployment and activation friction. FastPass is Okta’s phishing-resistant, passwordless authenticator for secure access to devices and applications
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to bring customer insight into product and GTM decisions, shape roadmap communications, and ensure commercialization and packaging changes are customer- and field-ready.
  • Enable Sales, Sales Engineering, Customer Success, Support, and partners with the messaging, tools, and programs needed to articulate value and drive successful deployments.
  • Help shape a cohesive device-access story that can extend to adjacent workforce and frontline-worker needs as the portfolio evolves.
  • Define and report on success metrics across adoption, activation, field readiness, pipeline influence, launch performance, and customer outcomes.
Qualifications
  • 8+ years of B2B enterprise product marketing experience, preferably in cybersecurity, identity, endpoint management, enterprise software, or a related technical category.
  • Demonstrated experience owning GTM strategy for complex technical products—from positioning and launches through field enablement and sustained customer adoption.
  • Ability to communicate credibly with security, identity, IT, and endpoint-management audiences.
  • Exceptional storytelling and executive communication skills, with the ability to make sophisticated technology accessible, differentiated, and commercially compelling.
  • Proven cross-functional leadership with Product, Engineering, Sales, Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, Digital, Pricing, and partner teams.
  • Strong analytical orientation, with experience using customer insight and performance data to shape strategy and improve adoption.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred qualifications
  • Experience in identity and access management, authentication, passwordless or phishing-resistant access, endpoint security, device posture, zero trust, MDM/UEM, or device-aware access.
  • Experience marketing Windows and/or macOS enterprise capabilities.
  • Experience building adoption motions for products where deployment, admin workflows, and end-user change management are meaningful parts of the customer journey.
  • Experience marketing products that integrate with broader endpoint-management or security ecosystems.
