About Wistia

Making videos is easy. Making them work for your business? That’s where Wistia shines. Our end-to-end platform gives businesses the tools to create, host, share, and analyze videos and webinars, all in one place.

We’re a growing, profitable company with tens of thousands of paying customers and over half a million active accounts. Our mission? To be the go-to video platform for businesses. And we know that mission starts with a team that feels valued, supported, and empowered to do their best work.

Why This Role Matters

Wistia’s webinar product is one of our highest priority and fastest growing areas of the business, and a big part of where we’re headed next. This role will play a leading role in shaping and executing the go-to-market and product strategy that helps us compete and win in the webinar market.

We’re investing heavily in this space and moving quickly. We’re testing, learning, and refining how we show up in a rapidly evolving market, and you’ll be right at the center of that momentum—bringing market insights and customer understanding back to the product team to help shape how our webinar offering evolves.

You’ll shape how we position Wistia Webinars, tell a clear and compelling story across the full webinar workflow, and drive adoption and expansion by translating product strategy into differentiated messaging and go-to-market plans.

Because webinars are a powerful way modern marketing teams generate pipeline and demonstrate impact, you’ll play a key role in shaping both the offering and the lead generation and analytics narratives behind webinars. That means connecting webinar engagement to business outcomes through lead capture, CRM and marketing automation integrations, and reporting that proves ROI.

You’ll be closely aligned to the Webinars product team, while also partnering closely with our Analytics and Integrations teams to bring the full webinar workflow to market.

We expect everyone on our team to actively use AI tools as part of their day-to-day work. Whether that's drafting, research, coding, analysis, or problem-solving, we see AI as a force multiplier and want people who are curious about it, comfortable experimenting with it, and thoughtful about when and how to apply it. You don't need to be an expert, but you should be someone who leans in rather than opts out.

What It's Like Working on This Team

You’ll work in a highly cross-functional environment where priorities evolve as we learn from customers and the market. Success comes from balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution—building clarity from ambiguity, moving work forward through collaboration, and iterating quickly to improve results.

Why is this role exciting?
You’ll own the story and help shape the strategy for a key product area and directly influence how Wistia shows up in a competitive market—through positioning, launches, enablement, lifecycle strategies, and partnerships.

How does it directly support Wistia’s mission?
You’ll help businesses turn webinars into a measurable growth channel—making it easier to launch high-quality events, capture and convert leads, and prove ROI through integrations and reporting. That work strengthens Wistia’s position as the go-to video and webinar platform for modern marketing teams.

What interesting challenges will candidates tackle?
You’ll help define how Wistia competes in a crowded webinar market—building a differentiated story that spans the full workflow from live event experience to lead capture, integrations, and ROI reporting. You’ll partner across multiple product areas to bring new capabilities to market, drive adoption, and enable Sales and Customer Success to win with a clear narrative around pipeline impact.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own webinar positioning and messaging

  • Lead go-to-market for launches and feature enhancements

  • Own the lead gen, integrations, and analytics story

  • Partner with lifecycle marketing and growth to drive adoption and expansion

  • Enable Sales and Customer Success to win

What We’re Looking For
  • Demonstrated experience leading product marketing or product-focused GTM work for SaaS products, including launching and growing adoption.

  • Deep customer and market orientation - you’re adept at understanding customer needs, the competitive landscape, and market dynamics, and use those insights to inform positioning, messaging, and product direction.

  • Strong positioning + messaging chops - you can translate complex product capabilities into simple, differentiated value grounded in customer needs, and use that perspective to influence what we build.

  • Proven ability to drive go-to-market efforts that lead to measurable business outcomes (e.g., adoption, retention, expansion, pipeline, revenue), in close partnership with Demand Gen, Lifecycle, Sales, and Customer Success.

  • Strong project leadership - you can run multiple initiatives in parallel, bring structure to evolving inputs, and keep cross-functional work moving forward.

  • Clear, persuasive communicator who can tailor messaging to different audiences and drive alignment across teams (including executive stakeholders).

  • Bonus: Experience marketing to demand gen, content, or event marketers who use webinars as a key part of their strategy.

  • How you work (our high-performance sweet spot): You bring a momentum-over-perfection mindset, take ownership, seek feedback early, share credit, and proactively unblock partners to deliver outcomes.

  • Encouragement to apply: If you’re excited about this role but your experience doesn’t match every requirement, we still encourage you to apply.

  • Accessibility: If you need accommodations during the interview process, please let us know - we’re happy to support you.

Why You’ll Love Working at Wistia

At Wistia, we’re building the leading video platform for small and medium B2B businesses, and we know that starts with our team. We support, challenge, and celebrate one another, and we invest deeply in connection. Why? Because strong relationships drive better outcomes – and because work is more meaningful when we genuinely care about the people we do it with.

We care a lot, so our benefits are actually benefits, not just the fun stuff like swag and snacks in the office (though we have lots of those too!). We know the biggest investment we can make is in our employees, so we provide:

  • A competitive compensation package that includes employee stock options

  • 401k with 3% company contribution, regardless of whether you contribute (Roth 401k available)

  • Fully paid healthcare, dental, and vision insurance premiums (family plans included)

  • Pre-Tax FSA and Dependent Care Account

  • 16 weeks of paid parental leave

  • Flexible Time Off. Everyone should get out of their office to recharge and reboot.

  • Remote-first culture (work from anywhere in the continental U.S.)

  • Annual professional development stipend (courses, conferences, and more)

  • New hire bonus to enhance your home office setup

  • Pet insurance discount
