Our client is a healthcare software company building tools for clinical and administrative teams. Its engineers are improving the systems used to manage claims, appointments, and payments.
The role
Raydar is recruiting for this opportunity through the Paraform network. The position is with our client. Set technical direction for billing workflows as a Staff Software Engineer. The role spans frontend and backend architecture across multiple teams, with an approximate 60/40 backend-to-frontend split.
What you'll do
- Define shared architecture, component conventions, API contracts, and observability.
- Lead large-scale tables, bulk operations, and unified activity workflows.
- Apply AI where it improves claim comparison, error analysis, or rules.
- Lead architecture reviews, code reviews, and mentoring.
- Own performance and reliability across rendering, queries, and submission pipelines.
- Deliver platform rebuilds incrementally without disrupting existing users.
Requirements
What we're looking for
- 8 to 15 years of full-stack engineering experience.
- Experience working with billing data, claims, EOBs, denial codes, or payment workflows.
- A record of leading multi-team rebuilds or migrations.
- Organization-wide frontend architecture or design-system leadership.
- Deep TypeScript/React, Python/FastAPI, PostgreSQL, and API design expertise.
- A computer science or equivalent engineering degree plus clear cross-team communication.
Bonus points
- Healthcare revenue-cycle or other regulated software experience.
- Production LLM feature experience.
