Staff Software Engineers (Delart Technology Services LLC; Sunnyvale, CA (multiple positions)): Develop scalable and modular software systems and platforms for wireless solutions. Integrate software platforms and modules used for testing and automation systems. Configure software and optimize end-to-end software platforms for wireless applications. Design and develop high-performance automation frameworks using API services available to different components in the test and characterization platform. Develop visualization and data analysis capabilities in the software framework using programming languages such as JavaScript and Python. Develop and integrate data analysis modules into the test automation framework. Implement automated test scenarios and analyze system logs for test failure resolution. Work cross-functionally with product management, engineering, and production teams to provide best solutions and resolve automation software development issues for wireless solutions.

Minimum requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Computer Systems Engineering, or related field, plus two (2) years of experience as a Software Engineer, or related occupation.

Alternate Education: Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Computer Systems Engineering, or related field.

Must have experience with:

  • Two (2) of the following programming languages: C/C++, Python, Java, or C#;
  • Operating systems: Linux or Unix;
  • Source code version control systems with Git;
  • Developing scalable and modular software platforms;
  • Software modules used for interfacing, controlling, and automating hardware and measurement instruments;
  • Using software solution development to automate data collection, database management, automated reporting, data analysis, and visualization;
  • Developing software modules for failure and performance analysis of systems under test;
  • Software and system log analysis for debugging and performance improvements; and
  • Designing and developing database management systems.

Skills may be gained through academic coursework and concurrently while pursuing academic studies.

Salary: $150,000 to $180,000 per year
