What You’ll DoDescription of the Team

The Enterprise IT Engineering team at CoreWeave is responsible for designing, building, and operating the company’s core internal platforms and SaaS ecosystem. This team ensures that collaboration, communication, identity, and edge infrastructure systems are secure, scalable, and well-governed.

Working closely with Identity, Security, and Infrastructure teams, Enterprise IT Engineering focuses on standardization, automation, and lifecycle management to reduce complexity and enable the business to scale efficiently.

About the Role

As a Staff Systems Engineer, Enterprise Architect, you will own CoreWeave’s core IT and SaaS platforms, including Google Workspace, Slack, Cloudflare, and domain infrastructure. Your day-to-day work will involve designing scalable configurations, improving system reliability, and driving automation across the IT ecosystem.

You will lead efforts to standardize tooling, reduce SaaS sprawl, and eliminate technical debt by deprecating legacy or unsupported systems. This role requires deep hands-on technical expertise combined with the ability to make high-impact architectural decisions.

You will also partner cross-functionally to ensure systems are secure, well-integrated, and built for long-term maintainability.

Who You Are
  • 7–10+ years of experience in IT systems engineering, enterprise IT, or platform engineering
  • Hands-on experience operating and administering enterprise SaaS platforms (e.g., Google Workspace, Slack)
  • Strong expertise in DNS and domain management, including lifecycle management and configuration
  • Experience with Cloudflare or similar edge/network platforms
  • Deep understanding of email authentication protocols (DKIM, SPF, DMARC)
  • Experience managing IT-related workloads in AWS, GCP, or Azure
  • Proven experience building automation using Python, PowerShell, or similar languages
  • Experience working with APIs, infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform), and workflow automation
  • Strong understanding of system design, scalability, and operational best practices in SaaS environments
  • Experience implementing or improving IT asset management (ITAM) and system inventory
  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate systems and execute on consolidation, standardization, and deprecation efforts
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills across SaaS platforms, integrations, and infrastructure-adjacent systems
Preferred
  • Experience in high-growth or cloud-native environments
  • Experience working with Identity providers (e.g., Okta, Entra)
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, SOX, or GDPR
  • Experience with workflow automation platforms (e.g., Workato or similar)
  • Experience managing SaaS sprawl and implementing governance frameworks
  • Background in enterprise IT architecture or platform standardization

The base salary range for this role is $188,000 to $275,000. The starting salary will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. We strive for both market alignment and internal equity when determining compensation. In addition to base salary, our total rewards package includes a discretionary bonus, equity awards, and a comprehensive benefits program (all based on eligibility).
