Job Description

As a Technical Product Manager, you will design and drive innovative solutions for the new ServiceNow SOM system by defining and managing the product roadmap, gathering and prioritizing requirements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. With a strong AI enablement mindset, you will help ensure successful product development and launches. Your focus will be delivering innovative, high-quality features that meet stakeholder needs, align with company strategy, and keep the end-user experience at the center.

You will play a critical role in driving the success of our SOM products by bridging the gap between technology and business objectives. This TPM role is pivotal in shaping the success of our go-to-market technical products. If you are a strategic thinker with a passion for technology and a knack for driving innovation, we encourage you to apply and join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy and Roadmap

  • Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy aligned with the company's overall objectives as well as supported by data.
  • Create and maintain a product roadmap that outlines the key features, enhancements, and milestones for the product's evolution.

Performance Metrics and Analysis

  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the product's success and iterate based on data-driven insights.
  • Use this insight to drive the future product roadmap.

Strong Product Ownership Mindset

  • End to end product ownership mindset instead of project – ongoing product inspection for its health and provide product insights.
  • Strong sense of urgency to address any product related issues and ability to rally the team and drive them towards resolution.

Requirement Gathering and End User Focused Solution Design

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and prioritize product requirements.
  • Provide the solution that answers to the end users' business problems with AI as key part of your solution.
  • Design solutions, define user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria to guide the development process.
  • Iterate on product features and enhancements to address stakeholders needs and pain points.

Technical Understanding

  • Possess a deep understanding of the technology stack, architecture, and technical constraints associated with the product.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure the technical feasibility of product features.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, UX design, quality assurance, and operations, to ensure successful product delivery.
  • Foster effective communication and collaboration among team members.

Go-to-Market Strategy and Execution

  • Partner with our platform, finance, sales, operations, and marketing teams to develop and execute effective go-to-market strategies for product launches and feature releases.
  • Gather seller feedback and market intelligence to inform product roadmap decisions and identify gaps in market positioning.
  • Ensure product messaging and positioning resonates with internal customers and differentiates against competitive solutions.

Customer Feedback and Iteration

  • Gather and analyze stakeholder feedback to identify opportunities for product improvement.
  • Iterate on product features and enhancements to address stakeholders needs and pain points.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you have:

  • Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry.
  • 8+ years of software product management roles, including go-to-market experience
